I had a blast.  My better-half was up in British Columbia on a production, which left me all alone down here, left to my own devices.  I had my turkey dinner here in the ballroom, and all the staff, while we enjoyed the $97k revenue for the day, thanks to the Seahawks v Forty-niners game next to us.  It’s as close to feeling like Donald Trump as I would ever want to be.

But enough about me.  Pretend I’m Paul Harvey for a moment:

OMG!  LOCKDOWN, LOCKDOOOOOWWWN!  Wear a mask!

Honestly, some of y’all probably should keep the mask on, if your know what I mean.  Seriously, get vaccinated or don’t.  Who cares any more?

I see that Rasmussen has Biden’s approval rating up to 45%  Hoo boy!  Pop those champagne corks.  yay.  I’m not sure what good news Trump got this week, but he’s already taking his victory lap.  But the negatives on both these fossils is amazing.  The number one complaint against Biden is that he’s ‘old’.  If it weren’t for the many more serious complaints against Trump, his age would the number one issue for him.

Biden has most of his problem with younger voters.  I see echoes of 1968, and half-expect to see Biden do an LBJ and not seek re-election.   Donald Trump has a pile of legal problems that will only get worse for him — because of his mouth.

I cannot sit here and predict who will be the nominees for either party — I just know that they will be a lot younger, and probably more “radical” for my taste.  It’s a tug-o-war between other people.  I’m just a bystander now.  Just let me know when to get out of the way of the madness…

I skipped right over the speech thing. Remember the stupid comment directly above when I talked about ‘radical’?  Well, here ya go.  This is like forcing a person on death row to choose their preferred method of execution.  Let’s see, do I go with the firing squad, or being hung by the neck until dead?  Oh, I know, how about having to choose between DeSantis and Newsome?

Oh, that’s right, the headline was about free speech, right?  California is MUCH freer in speech these days.  No question.

There really is such a thing as too much information.  It can be a mine field of real and fake, and often a mixture of both.  Anyone can be a ‘journalist’ on the internet.  Worse, you could decide to become a social media ‘influencer’.  (if you don’t know, google it)

It’s a jungle here in these InterTubes, where a sock puppet can be the content provider of someone else’s blog.

Saudi Arabia, right?  Maybe even China?  I’d send them both packing.  Better yet, no foreign nationals should own US real estate, and definitely not a nation-state.

The grass is always greener, I don’t care who you are.  Conservatives are leaving California to Texas, while Liberals move out of Texas to Californ-i-a.  In about thirty years, everyone will be moving North, where the water is.  It’s what all the kids are yelling about today…

Now this is the strategy Hunter Biden should be taking in all of this.  Agree to sit for a hearing to air out private family matters — in PUBLIC, for everyone to see. No more innuendos being passed off as fact, just put every fucking thing out there.  It’s probably a lot more boring and insignificant than the political innuendo and selective parsing.

This is how you counter the political “witch hunt”.  You give them more than what they ask for.  In this case, they wanted Hunter Biden to testify behind closed doors so that they can control the narrative.  Hunter Biden counters with fuck the private setting, let’s broadcast this shit on all the networks in real time.

Also, if I am correct in my thought that Joe Biden may decide to drop out of the race and open it up to all the candidates, then this whole congressional “investigation” thing will just be a sad commentary on the Republican Party.
