It is a Wednesday in the Realm, and somehow I lost a day.  For some reason, I went through yesterday thinking it was a Monday.

I am here in my office nestled between two major stadiums in Seattle at 0500 hrs to deliver you the news and commentary that I shouldn’t be doing.  One of these days, you will wake up and find that this site hasn’t been updated in weeks, and that should give you a clue that maybe I was serious when I told you that I am not going to be here too much longer.

Here are the headlines that caught my eye this morning

Item 1:  Norman Lear, TV Legend, Dies at 101

I thought he had died years ago…

Item 2:  14th Amendment challenge to Trump’s eligibility heads to Colorado Supreme Court today

This is the first of about a dozen state cases seeking to remove Trump from the ballot.  It will be VERY interesting to see which ones will prevail.

Item 3:  IDF to flood tunnels

Personally, I would have used gas, but for the optics.  But water is good too.  Hydrochloric or sulfuric acid would be fun too.

Item 4:  Biden says he might not be running if Trump weren’t in the race

I was saying this way back in 2020 when Biden was running.  The ONLY reason grandpa came out of his basement retirement was solely because Trump was running.  If Trump were to drop out now, Biden would go away also, giving us all a MUCH better chance to find someone a LOT better than these two…

Item 5:  Sticking With Windows 10 Instead Of Upgrading? Get Ready To Pay For Security Updates

Nobody is upgrading to Windows 11 and it’s costing MicroShaft a lot of money.  It’s alright though:  when they start charging for updates, I will switch back to Linux.

Item 6:  Trump melts down on Truth Social after judge refuses to delay his testimony: “No way, no how”

If he thinks the New York State court is fucking with him, wait until he hits the federal court for his criminal trials…

But when isn’t Trump in some kind of a ‘meltdown’ on social media?

Item 7:  Angry relatives of Hamas captives and ex-hostages confront Netanyahu

Well, the current government pretty much allowed this attack to happen in the first place.  As time goes on, we are finding out more and more about how the ball was dropped.  The question will eventually come around as to whether this was the plan all along…

Item 8:  Republicans’ Climate Renegade: ‘You Can’t Argue with the Water Coming into Your Home’

Former congresscritter Bob Inglis (R-SC) comes clean on why Republicans are so truculent on the idea of ‘Climate change’, and how he had an epiphany after actually seeing first hand the effects of Climate Change around us.  Apparently, it was the hate of Al Gore that closed your already closed minds on this stuff.  If it had been a Republican sounding the alarm, y’all would have been all over this thing.

Stupid is, as stupid does, I guess.

What the fuck did I just watch?

School Spirits

[embedyt] https://youtu.be/nB2w3OuaP64?si=BbSAcRtEY9y_EsPw[/embedyt]

Set in the fictional town of Split River, Wisconsin, the show follows Maddie, a teen girl stuck in the afterlife investigating her own mysterious disappearance; she goes on a crime-solving journey as she adjusts to high school in the afterlife, but the closer she gets to the truth, the more secrets and lies she discovers.

It is a Paramount+ series that was picked up for a second season, but it is already on Netflix.

From the Memebox, plus one of my own…

  1. Flood the tunnels with water. Acid or gas could get into the ground water, bad for everyone. Let’s be environmentally friendly!

    1. Flooding the tunnels could cause massive sink holes and soil erosion. It’s mostly a sandy soil, which is why the tunnels are easily dug.

I’d go fill the tunnels with pure nitrogen. It’s non-toxic, but it displaces oxygen which would cause suffocation — and death.

Looking for something to do with carbon? Fill the tunnels full of carbon dioxide.

We can still be environmentally friendly with pure nitrogen.

  2. All those 14th Amendment challenges to ban Trump will go nowhere fast. Only Congress can declare an insurrection, not some judge.

I watched that series on Paramount. I liked it.

I’m holding off Windows 11 for as long as I can.

Now if you want some real entertainment, check out the results of the Reedy Creek Improvement District audit handed in to the successor district.

Reedy Creek was set up for Disney back when they were getting ready to build Disney world and Epcot. RDIC was dissolved by Florida when Disney got political. (It’s more then that of course)

Basically, Disney and current and past management are looking at criminal charges as well as civil suits.

    Tax Evasion
    Securities fraud
    general every day fraud
    Bribery
    Extortion

And a whole bunch more. Worst case is Disney collapses, is broken up and the parts sold off to pay all the liabilities.

I was listening to a podcast run by a lawyer from Florida who actually specializes in District law. (Look up the legal mindset on youtube or rumble) He says people are going to jail, including Iger.

  3. HYPOCRITES AND LIARS OF THE DAY

“Does calling for the genocide of Jews violate Harvard/U Penn/ MIT’s code of conduct?” When asked to give a yes or no answer, not one of them would say “Yes.” One said “It depends on the context.” Meaning what? That if they actually committed genocide on the Jews, it would violate the code of conduct. Now substitute the word “Jews” with the word “blacks” and see what answer you get.

More on liberals – where are the women’s groups, the #MeToo’ers, the UN Council for Human Rights – when it comes to mass rape of Israeli women?

” Israel has received over 1,000 testimonies about Hamas’ sexual violence during the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks which left 1,200 civilians dead, according to the AP. Israel is criticizing human rights organizations, particularly those in the United Nations (UN), for failing to condemn the “horrible atrocities” committed by Hamas.

One woman who survived the Oct. 7 attacks testified that she saw a group of Hamas terrorists rape another woman before mutilating her breasts and shooting her in the head while still sexually assaulting her, according to the AP. An Israeli combat medic said that after the attacks he discovered six bodies of men and women, some of whom appeared to have distorted limbs and bleeding around the groin area. The Physicians for Human Rights Israel conducted an initial assessment and found Hamas had committed sexual violence on a mass scale against women, men, and children.

the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is “absolutely” concerned about Hamas committing rape against the remaining women hostages, according to the AP.

And liberal idiots protest on behalf of these animals?

  4. You are missing the methodology completely. Flood tunnels with about 12 inches of water treated with UV fluorescent agent in it. Now your troops simply have to shoot every person with wet pants or with dry pants that show up under UV. Simple and effective. Yeah, a one time strategy, but that is all you need if done right.

  5. https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/egypt-floods-gazas-tunnels-seawaterEgypt floods Gaza’s tunnels with seawater Analysts have warned that Egypt flooding Gaza’s tunnels will have serious negative implications for the local environment

    Published date: 27 September 2015

Local police sources in Rafah told MEE on condition of anonymity that Egypt has destroyed 95 percent of supply tunnels connecting Gaza Strip and Egypt. Egypt is planning that sea water will flood into any remaining undiscovered tunnels and completely destroy them. Most tunnels are usually 20 meters deep, and can stretch for three hundred meters inside Egyptian Rafah.

The newspaper reported that Hamas became aware of the project only after about 80 percent of it had been accomplished.

    Oh, the Muslim brotherhood.

  6. ‘Hamas takes everything’: Reporter stunned as Palestinian woman calls out terror group for stealing aid on live TV
Biden announced in November that the United States is surging the amount of humanitarian aid to Gaza to assist Palestinian civilians.
“Let me be clear… if Hamas diverts or steals the assistance, they will have demonstrated once again that they have no concern for the welfare of the Palestinian people, and it will end,” Biden stated in October.
