Earthquakes, eclipses, hurricanes, global warming.  All sure signs of the Wrath of Gawd.  MTG tells us we should REPENT!  The Rapture is right around the corner.

To that end, I’ve decided to become an earthquake expert.

The only thing that can save us is to sacrifice a couple of presidential candidates to the volcano.

In Israel, Orthodox Jews are protesting in favor of the Palestinians:

Here in the US, Donald Trump is telling us that he doesn’t support a nationwide ban on abortion, and that it should be left up to the individual states to decide.  I guess he still wants to retain the ability to pay for the abortion of whatever porn star he knocks up next…?

I can safely die, for I have now seen just about everything…

Scoop – Netflix

The film is a behind-the-scenes story of the women who negotiated with the Buckingham Palace establishment to secure the “scoop of the decade” that was the public catalyst for the downfall of Prince Andrew, in a televised interview which focused on Andrew’s relationship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and allegations of Andrew’s sexual assault of a minor which Andrew denies and in early 2022 settled out of court for a £12 million settlement. The interview was later described as less a car crash than “a plane crashing into an oil tanker, causing a tsunami, triggering a nuclear explosion.”

MY THOUGHTS:  Ordinarily, I wouldn’t have bothered with this docudrama.  I am really not a Royal Watcher or fan, and up until now, I think that anyone even remotely tied to Jeffry Epstein is probably a piece of rotten shit.

Until now.

I can’t help but feel a bit sorry for Prince Andrew.  The man has lived an extremely sheltered life of privilege.  I don’t know if he’s actually guilty of porking underaged girls or not, but his responses to questions have done him no good service.

His answer to the questions of whether he had sex with an underage girl — or any girl for that matter — was convoluted and rambling, where a simple, solid “FUCK NO” would have sufficed.  Instead, he couldn’t ‘recall’ ever meeting the girl, let alone having sex with her.  I suspect that his answers has a lot to do with having to huddle with lawyers to hammer out a response that wouldn’t legally commit him to an answer.  It came off badly.

When asked if he had any thoughts about his relationship with Epstein, he should have simply said, that he regretted ever meeting the guy.  Instead, he did another dance that made him look even worse.
