Good morning from my office perched between the two stadiums in Seattle. It is about 0545 and I’ve got work to do. But first, I thought I would drop a log on y’all…

Kamala is still fishing for a VP. She apparently ‘won’ the nomination in some kind of online balloting by delegates. People are speculating on who she’s going to pick. Personally, I don’t care. If I’m still around in November, I may vote. I may not. It’s not that I don’t care — I don’t. It’s that I don’t care with a vengeance.

I wasn’t going to post anything this morning because, like I said, I have work to do. But I ran across this little tidbit in the news that I found to be pretty hilarious.

Apparently, Kyle Rittenhouse left the Trump plantation for about twelve hours yesterday by stating that he was no longer going to support Donald Trump because he didn’t think Trump was strong enough in his support for the Second Amendment. Because of that, he announced that he was going to write in Paul Rand in November. Oh, and that his decision was final and “no takebacks”.

I’m sorry, but hasn’t this guy’s ‘fifteen minutes of fame’ been used up already? Why is this kid even relevant? He should be in prison, not being the poster boy for gun violence and literally getting away with murder.

Within minutes of his unsolicited announcement, Trump lost their collective minds and turned on him.

It wouldn’t last long.
