This is How it’s Done

We know this is an “old” story and we know that most if not all of y’all are already aware of it but, in view of the numerous instances of certain law enforcement departments clearly enjoying their freshly issued jackboots a little bit too much, we just want to bring this one up again, because it’s a perfect example of how many LEOs, the vast majority of them, know full good and well what their jobs are and, more importantly, what their jobs are NOT.

So let this warm your hearts and remind you that even though rotten apples exist, they always have and always will, we have hundreds of thousands of uniforms out there who are doing G-d’s work with a deep and abiding respect for all that makes this country great.

Franklin County’s (Maine) Sheriff Scott Nichols’ response to the Democrat governor’s Covidiot Führerdiktat was as follows:

A message from the Sheriff regarding the latest Executive Order

We will not be setting up a Police State. PERIOD.

The Sheriff’s Office will not purposefully go out and stop vehicles because they are on the road or stop and ask why people are out and about. To do so puts our officers at risk. This is not Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia where you are asked for your papers!

He goes on to emphasize the importance of staying safe

If the self-important, power-crazed Hitler wannabes want to abolish the Constitution, they can do so, as long as they follow the proper procedure and get 2/3rds of America to go along with it (in which case we might as well, because then we, as a people, have proven ourselves unworthy of the blessing that our Founders bought with their lives and deserve every last bit of what we’ve got coming for us. Well, the 2/3rds anyway. The remaining 1/3rd of us might prove, ahem, “difficult” when they try to enforce it).

Point is, he’s not alone. He’s just one example of the many white hats that nobody ever talks about.

Bottom line is this, and it really should be obvious to us all: Nobody’s an arsehole until they’ve proven themselves to be. Keep that in mind. Because if we start assuming that people ARE arseholes until proven innocent, we’re only helping the enemy who can only thrive if he succeeds in dividing us.

Divide et impera isn’t a concept that just popped into existence out of nowhere.

Don’t let them win. Remain vigilant, stick close to the principle of “no better friend, no worse enemy”, but don’t jump to “enemy” by default.

We’ll deal with the enemies once they’ve been identified, an easy job since they seem to be ever so eager to identify themselves right now, and we’ll deal with them harshly. And definitively.
