Democratic Alabama state Rep. John Rogers is facing criticism after he advocated for abortion access and said that unwanted babies should be killed now or they’ll end up in the electric chair.

“Some kids are unwanted, so you kill them now or you kill them later,” Rogers said Tuesday in a debate on a state abortion bill, arguing the decision to continue a pregnancy or have an abortion should be left to women.

“You bring them in the world unwanted, unloved, you send them to the electric chair. So, you kill them now or you kill them later,” Rogers said.

And you thought that Coonface Northam was bad?

John Rogers: “Hold my beer.”

Of course, he was “merely” saying that those unwanted babies are going to get killed later, pointing out that it’s “cruel” to let them live.

You know, ending “worthless lives” for their own good, sparing them a lifetime of suffering, ending in unavoidable tragedy.

We keep thinking that we’ve heard this line of “reasoning” before, but it was in a different language… There was a term they used for people who might as well be killed. Oh yes, the term was “Lebensunwertes Leben.” It’s in German, unsurprisingly.

It’s refreshing to see the Democrats embracing their ideological roots more and more openly.

For one, it makes it easier for even the most Pollyannaish of Pollyannas to finally recognize reality and, for another, it gives His Imperial Majesty yet another chance to bang his “We Told You So” drums.
