Good morning from my office stuffed between two stadiums in Seattle. It’s a dry, overcast day, with a high of about 62° F and no rain forecast. In other words, a fairly mild, and boring day outside.

There are eleven days before the election, and if you are anything like me, you are sick and tired of the bullshit being thrown at us from every direction — up, down, and sideways. I’ve come to the conclusion that NO news is GOOD news.

No wonder my cat goes through life unfazed. Maybe she isn’t as stupid as she looks.

I’ve been trying like hell to avoid any- and everything having to do with the election specifically, and the news in general. It has gotten to the point of absurdity, and I don’t do absurd all that well.

I don’t mind being wrong about something: I’m just as wrong as often as the next person, but when I’ve been convinced of being wrong, I am NOT going to double down on BEING wrong. Unfortunately, not many people feel this way, I’m afraid. They will continue a lie KNOWING it’s a lie, just so that they won’t have to change their minds on anything.

Those types of people I could never trust again — with anything.

This is why I don’t want to know what’s going on in the news right now. I have trust issues and I’m just not believing any of the shit that passes for “news” these days.

So I spend my days coding on a application to track assets over an entire Hotel and property acquisition company and my evenings binge-watching television series and watching music reaction videos and police helicopter chases on YouTube.

And that is what I am going to share with y’all today — some of the dumb shit that I’ve watched in lieu of the news for the past week. After that, you tell me which is the smarter watch — the news or the dumbshit that I’ve been watching…

Music Reactions on YouTube

I’ve gotten hooked on watching this kid out of the UK react to music that he’s never heard before.

First Time Hearing The Chain by Fleetwood Mac

First Time Hearing ‘Green Day – Boulevard Of Broken Dreams’

First Time Hearing ‘ Peter Frampton – Do You Feel Like We Do’

First Time Hearing ‘Yes – Roundabout’

First Time Hearing ‘Goo Goo Dolls – Iris’

First Time Hearing ‘Radiohead – Creep’

Okay, that’s it for today.
