I thought y’all might like a quick review of ‘2016 Obama’s America‘ if you haven’t had the chance or decided to go see this yet.
The fact that every review I’ve read thoroughly panned it as fallacy and right-wing propaganda should be the first clue that it’s a good flick. It placed #8 at the box office this weekend, grossing $9 million making it the #1 Conservative documentary of all time. Not too bad for a film without slick commercial advertising.
The movie itself is hybrid of two books by the inestimable Dinesh D’Souza. The book with the same title and “The Roots of Obama’s Rage”. D’Souza starts with the premise that Obama’s actions and worldview can’t be explained as pure ideology and there are other forces at work here. Obama’s book ‘Dreams From My Father’ is used by D’Souza for insight into the Obama psyche. He contrasts himself as an immigrant against Obama as a quasi-immigrant and one who was largely influenced by his family and later associates. The movie proceeds as a loose analytical biography with a focus on significant events in the life of Obama. D’Souza himself narrates and stars in the film and conducts interviews with a number of people that attempt to explain the rage inside the Socialist-In-Chief. Perhaps the best interview in the flick is with Obama’s half-brother George.
The film paints a picture of Obama as a raging Anti-colonialist with the mission of making the white colonial empires ‘pay’ for their rape of the third world countries formerly occupied. Not spoken or implied is that Obama himself has deep racist roots. The influence of his father while minimal, established it and his grandfather brought it to fruition, introducing the young Obama to Frank Marshall Davis as his mentor, Davis was perhaps one of the biggest communist propagandist of his era. A ranking member of the Communist Party USA, Davis took his marching orders more or less directly from the Kremlin, and even taught at a school run by the CPUSA. Of a very, very interesting note about Davis is that Vernon Jarrett, father of Valerie Jarrett was a close colleague of Davis’. The young Obama spent many hours with Davis at his grandfather’s behest and it’s not hard to imagine the lessons he learned. Throughout his life Obama has been immersed in the anti-American, socialist/communist, racist community. The communist/socialist movement took advantage of the grievances held by many in the third-world to subvert them politically. The movie also explains Obama’s foreign policy as one that will lead to Muslim domination of the mid-east into the United States of Islam. The graphic used for this was quite chilling, seeing tiny Israel awash in a sea of hostility. Another great point Dinesh makes is that of depicting Obama’s Founding Fathers, the men who brought his ideology to a fine point.
The movie is well produced, and provides an easily understood timeline of the events shaping Barack Obama’s worldview. In spite of being labeled a conservative documentary the movie doesn’t really get into political subjects other than pointing out what ideology Obama obviously adheres to and why.
This movie is an absolute, positively, no-excuses MUST SEE. It’s extremely informative and provides a tremendous amount of deep background intel on Ogabe. I would say it’s a real eye-opener and does a great job of explaining some of the more confusing actions Ozero has taken. This is definitely a movie the WH and left does NOT want you to see.
