When our very good friend (if it weren’t for him, the iconic Rottie at the top of this site wouldn’t be there) and fellow OG’er Mike Hendrix of Cold Fury fame stopped posting on July 6th, we weren’t all that concerned since we knew that he was in the business of moving and had, in fact, alerted everybody to the fact that settling in and getting the InterTubes up and running in the new Casa Hendrix might take a bit.
But then we, having finally found some time for idle browsing, saw the “Site Suspended” notice when we clicked over to check on him.
We were this close to sounding the alarum and putting out an All Imperial APB Bulletin, but we decided to first check around to see if anybody else knew anything. After all, when you’re in the midst of moving it also becomes quite possible to just miss a notice from your hosting service. Priorities and all. Still, being paranoid as we are, we feared the worst.
Thankfully, and much to our relief, it turns out that he’s quite alright, he’s just a bit swamped by the tent pole shifting, which we learned at our other dear friend and fellow OG’er Bill Quick’s site, since he had beaten us to it and put up the Bat Signal already.
Thank G-d. This whole Blogosphere thing wouldn’t be the same without Mike, and we look forward eagerly to his resumption of duties.
