Jumping Josef Stalin on a Nuclear Powered Pogo Stick is Komrade Ogabe rolling out the collectivist socialist boilerplate these days:

if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something — there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there. (Applause.)

If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.

Yes, that’s right. You didn’t earn that. Somebody else earned it for you. Your ideas, your investment when you banked everything you owned on those ideas, your 90-hour work weeks trying to get it off the ground, none of that matters because everybody does that, you just got lucky that somebody else did all the heavy lifting for you so you have to give it all back, right now, because shut up, racist!

We’ll grant that there probably aren’t very many bipedals around with a more intimate knowledge of not having earned a damn thing while being carried on the shoulders of others than Affirmative Action Boy Ogabe. But projection is never pretty, so he probably ought to tone it down a bit, the incompetent jackweasel of a “never accomplished anything in his life” oozing itch in the unreachable spot on the backside of humanity.

But that’s not the point. What Komrade Ogabe just said there, no matter how much “pragmatic conservatives” might object and clutch their pearls at the “fundamental unseriousness” of stating the blatantly obvious, is the very core of collectivist socialist philosophy, the global disease of the mind that has accomplished nothing over its entire history other than racking its body count up into 9 digits.

The sickening idea that there is no such thing as an individual, that all human being are carbon copies of each other, and that any difference in outcome over the span of their lives is due to either “luck”, “unfairness” or any combination of both. In a collectivist socialist “utopia”, anybody could be Bill Gates and probably ought to be, because it was just pure coincidence that turned citizen 00Ahh/B-7781661 “Gates, Bill” into the founder of Microsoft out of a garage instead of citizen 87Zij/X-6654194 “Smith, Joe.”

Everybody’s special, and therefore nobody is. You’re all just cogs in the great collective machine, and anything you achieve above and beyond the state mandated acceptable average was achieved due to exploitation of everybody else and, therefore, all of your achievements are forfeit as belonging to the collective.

You are not allowed to have hopes and dreams because they are subversive and, besides, an utterly irrelevant fantasy. You are no different from anybody else and you should be ashamed if you achieve more than the collective average, because you have stolen it from some other equally deserving soul. In the Ogabe collectivist dystopia, there are no Beethovens, no Mozarts, no Newtons, no Hawkingses, no Einsteins, they’re all just aberrations from the collectivist norm and they must therefore be punished for their pathological deviation from it.

There is no such thing as a “knack” for mechanics, math, arts, chemistry or anything else, you just got “lucky” if you succeeded and “oppressed” if you did not.

And the collectivist state gets to decide what the norm is.

He could not have been any clearer about what he and the Democrat National Socialist Party stands for today if he’d wrapped himself in a hammer and sickle.

It is sickening, and it’s even more sickening that it is still considered “extremist” and “unhelpful” to point out what is self-evident to anybody who has ever bothered to open a history book.

Much like an entire generation of well-intentioned human beings refused to admit that what was to be found inside that disgusting book, Mein Kampf, might just be what a certain Austrian sociopath actually meant because, hey, he really just wanted to create jobs and get the trains to run on time, so let’s not read “too much” into what he’s actually saying.

12 years later, “not reading too much into things” left humanity with millions upon millions of carcasses stinking up the neighborhood followed by the inevitable decades of “it wasn’t our fault! Who could have possible foreseen???

Anybody who was paying fucking attention to, you know, what the maniac was saying in his own fucking words. That’s who, you mewling, pathetic cowards.

Perhaps you can excuse our grandparents’ generation since nobody had ever seen evil on that scale before, but our generation certainly has no such excuse.

Socialism is, has always been and will always be a cancer upon society and you would think that we had learned, after more than a century of bitter experience with its genocidal excesses, to recognize the early warning stages where treatment is still possible before everything goes pear shaped again and we, once more, have to start firing up the backhoes to dig out fresh mass graves.

But you’d be wrong. Mankind never learns anything.

Thatisall.
