I have never done anything to hurt my country or the men and women who have fought and continue to fight for us.
I know a “few” people who would, shall we say, like to take issue with that. You met a few of them once, back in 1972 at the Hoa Lo prison, better known as the Hanoi Hilton. You know who I’m talking about dear, those “hypocrites and liars”, the “military careerists and professional killers” who were “trying to make themselves look self-righteous, but they are war criminals according to the law”. They were the “…men who had not been tortured. These were not men who had been starved. These were not men who had been brainwashed.” You spoke to quite a few of the rest of them too, on the radio when you called them war criminals and “blue eyed murderers”. (BTW sweetie pie, a few of ’em had hazel eyes. I think you owe them a special apology.)
I do not understand what the far right stands to gain by continuing with these myths.

P.S., all this talk about “baby killers” and what not reminds of a couple sea stories. Back in ’68 or ’69 a Marine was coming back to the world and was met at the airport by a pretty little thing with hair down to his ass and his smelly girlfriend. She screamed at him “You baby killer!”. The Marine looked at her, laughed and said “Ma’am, I don’t reckon I killed no babies, but I’m pretty sure I’m responsible for a few being born.”
