“How can it be happy?”, you might ask, pointing rightly to the seemingly endless line of grievances, insults, defeats and crimes our beloved Republic has suffered at the hands of our enemies.

To which I answer: “For the same reason any birthday is a happy occasion, no matter what the temporary circumstances might be at the time of its celebration, namely that it is a celebration of yet another year, of something that, no matter what else, yet exists.”

It might be barely recognizable to our Founding Fathers, that much is certainly true, but yet it exists. It lives on in the hearts and minds of millions, and that which is remembered in such a way may never die.

I have mentioned it before, and I shall continue reminding everybody, myself especially, that the Soviet fascists thought themselves invincible too once, only to see their “empire” ground into dust within mere decades. They fell not to the force of arms, but to the memories living within the hearts of those they thought defeated for all time. And fall they did.

Our enemies face an even stronger and more implacable foe. They face a whirlwind they themselves have sown. They face the pent-up anger of people who are well-armed, well-trained and very resourceful. They face the wrath of millions who aim to misbehave. Unknown millions everywhere. They will never see it coming until it is too late. They will reap the just desserts in millions of ways, big and small, until they are no more and they succumb to millions of cuts and bruises. casino insättning 30 kr

All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again.

But today we celebrate. Today we remember, so that this Republic of ours will never be forgotten.

G-d Bless the United States of America
