Does anyone with an IQ greater than a paramecium really think The Mad Mullahs in Tehran are ever, ever, EVAH going to let anyone in on their nuclear program’s ambitions ??? (H/T Times of Israel)
Let’s just start with this reasonably clear statement:
Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Wednesday ruled out allowing nuclear inspectors to visit military sites or to question scientists, state media reported.
“We have already said that we will not allow any inspections of military sites by foreigners,” the official IRNA news agency quoted him as saying.
No ambiguity there, merely a “go fuck yourself” to the expensive suit-clad state and foreign ministry types that think these assholes are going to become good little boys and join the civilized world.
“They also say that we must allow interviews with nuclear scientists. This is interrogation. I will not allow foreigners to come and talk to scientists who have advanced the science to this level,” Khamenei said.
Whose blindingly brilliant idea was it to expect any information would be gained by having a coffee klatch with their folks? Morons…..Oh and by the way I’d say that was another hale and hearty “go fuck yourself and your horse” from Khmadman. Even if we could chat with them, they’d be posing with their backs to a wall in short order.
Other Iranian officials have repeatedly claimed that inspectors would not be given freedom of access to nuclear facilities — directly contradicting US officials who tout comprehensive inspections as being a key element of a final deal.
Say it isn’t so Gertrude. Foggy Bottom would never, ever mislead, misrepresent or flat-out lie to us would they? That vermin-infested agency is crammed full of peacenik Neville Chamberlain wannabes.
Khamenei’s statements came as experts from Iran and six world powers prepared to launch a new round of negotiations focused on reaching a deal that curbs Iran’s nuclear program.
What in the name of Satan’s Flaming Dingleberries is there to negotiate about? The only deal to be had with Iran is one that is a major win for them. We’ll trade you Israel for inspections that you’ve categorically refused to talk about, let alone permit.
Diplomats said ahead of Wednesday’s meeting that progress is being made but significant gaps remain on a main document and technical annexes ahead of an end-of-June deadline.
Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock, as the goat-molesters keep right on making that Good Ole’ U-235 and Pu-239 White Lightning better than ever and more Improved™ What progress is being claimed? Did they agree on the Dinner Buffet menu? They sure as hell didn’t make any progress on the claimed objective.
Iran’s team is led by Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi. EU official Helga Schmidt is heading the other side. Senior officials from the US, Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany may join in later. The deal aims for strict limits on Iranian nuclear capabilities that could be used to make weapons. Tehran denies any interest in such arms but is negotiating for a lifting of sanctions.
I’ll leave it to our gentle sorry, deliciously vicious readers to be amazed at Helga’s resume. No doubt a Master’s in English and Romance languages gives her a mastery for dealing with 7th Century thugs. Well there is politics thrown in there too, full disclosure and all.
The diplomats demanded anonymity because they are not authorized to discuss the talks.
Anonymity to avoid being lynched back home once they give Iran the final green light to finish their fissile arsenal, and torch the middle east. But wait there’s more….
A framework agreement — reached at the beginning of April and set to be finalized by June 30 — called for a scaling back of Iran’s uranium enrichment program along with comprehensive inspections of its nuclear facilities to ensure it is not developing atomic weapons. In return, Iran demanded that global sanctions that have crippled its economy be lifted. [Emph Mine-JB]
Now we get to the real meat of the “negotiations”. Iran is cash-strapped precisely because their enrichment process got zapped awhile back from our hacker friends. The hardware to enrich bomb-grade fuel is rather pricey and something tells me their suppliers are putting the squeeze on them as they get closer to finishing the project. Lifting the sanctions on the Mullahs would be the only thing anyone gets out of this P5+1 Circle-Jerk and the rest of the world gets to be the pivot man.
The piece continues on, with more categorical denials of any cooperation with inspections by various ranking douche-bags in Tehran.
This shit has gotta stop…sooner rather than later they’ll have what they want and the Jewish State is going to be cornered. They’ll need our support for logistics and a few other hardware items to deal with what we already know are very well hardened sites. The JDF Air Force just doesn’t have the heavies with the legs for round-trip missions with the munitions that would be needed. It would be in the best interest of the Saudis to play ball here, but they’re on the fence for their own reasons, even though the Iranians are not kinfolk genetically, and Shi’a to boot. Their true intentions go beyond the utter destruction of Israel. They see the Sunni nations in the greater ME as brethren gone astray and with nuclear weapons they’ll quickly attempt to establish a new quasi-Ottoman Empire, but under Shiite Muslim rule, and bring their own prodigal sons and daughters back into the fold at the tip of the sword. Our former president and “Master of Mid-East Realpolitik” other wise known as the hapless Jimmuh Cadduh screwed the pooch by failing to intervene in the revolution that deposed Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi. Yes, the Shah was not a very nice guy, especially with his vicious SAVAK to keep dissidents in line, but he was pro-US and pro-Israel and with a few exceptions worked hard to revive the sagging economy and bring about more democratic reforms. The US once again, fucked an ally in a region where few are to be found, leaving us the mess since 1979. When the shit hits the fan there, we’ll have no choice but to help the few friends we have there. The left will piss and moan that we’re just covering for the eeeevil Big Oil™ companies profits and of course the old lame meme that Conservatives love war for profiteering. Bullshit of course, stability in the Middle East is a helluva lot more important than business interests. Commerce is extremely dependent on access to the gulf and even more important the Suez Canal. It’s an interest for the world and the establishment of the Iranian Caliphate would bode ill for us all.
Stayed tuned to this one..it could turn out to be a helluva ride.
-Carry On
