I wish I could be the bearer of good news or, at the very least, some silly news that one might conceivably laugh at, and that time will come. Right now, however, is not that time.
Our very own Oz Brendan’s wife is in the ICU, fighting a big one, and I do mean a big one.
The operative word here, however, is fighting. And she’s making cautious, slow, but consistent progress in her battle.
Now I have faith in her and Brendan’s fighting skills, particularly hers, she’s of very good stock, but I also know that any ally in a battle like this is valuable. And I can’t think of a better ally than the happy thoughts, prayers (to whomever your deity might be) and sincere well-wishes of all of you.
We’ve all seen it help so very many times in the past.
She is being well taken care of, top notch medical care, and did I mention that she’s a fighter? And Brendan would like to make it clear that they’re not hurting for anything. All that is needed is a bit of a miracle.
So if you have a moment, please join me in wishing for a speedy, safe and full recovery for his life’s love.
Again, it doesn’t matter who you believe in or if you believe at all.
I’ll just go ahead and speak to the G-d I know and believe in:
Dear G-d, our heavenly father.
Please intercede on the side of our sister, Brendan’s beloved wife.
Grant her healers wisdom and insight, and grant both her and Brendan strength and faith in the battles yet to come.
Thy will be done.
In the name of your son, Jesus Christ, my savior, I humbly ask for this.
