Killing the Golden Goose and Forcing Your Citizens into Exile

From the Imperial Sestrichka, Nicki:

I never thought in a million years of leaving the country my parents fought so hard to enter – or the citizenship they worked so hard to attain. I have always been proud of my American citizenship. I joined the military, because I love this country. I serve, protect and defend the Constitution of these United States for those same reasons to this day.

I cannot imagine what these expats are thinking or feeling. But I’m beginning to understand why.

She speaks of the record numbers of Americans living abroad who are renouncing their citizenship to escape the reign of error of Barack the Bastard. It is all good, so go read. We’ll still be here when you’re done.

Done? Good.

We know exactly how our dear sestrichka feels. We can’t ourself imagine what would make a citizen of this nation want to give up the gift that both she and I have been given and value so very, very deeply, but we too are beginning to understand.

And that’s what’s really horrifying. Because it’s not that the “record numbers” are all that high, they’re actually not high at all relatively speaking, it’s that this country has slid so far down the slope to third world irrelevancy and tyranny that anybody would stop and think about whether being a U.S. citizen is really worth all that it’s been cracked up to be.

This used to be the country that anybody with potential, anybody yearning to make something of themselves would risk their fucking lives to get into, and now it’s a country that those who made it, the entrepreneurs and creators of wealth and jobs who made us what we are, are trying to get out of. If this keeps up, we’ll have to turn the Statue of Liberty around 180 degrees and change the inscription to “your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore, don’t you motherfuckers move because we own your asses, and don’t you forget it! Now get back to work and pay your taxes so we of the nomenklatura can continue to live the good life.”

Heck, we might finally get our border security fence. Only the MG towers and minefields will be pointed in the opposite direction to make sure that the few remaining workers upon whose bodies the useless Washington DC parasites feed don’t leave. We think that’s been tried before.

Oh sure, Barack the Bastard and his Democrat National Socialist will demonize those “traitors” for daring to escape being bled dry for the Common Good™, and the GOP, being a bunch of self-centered, equally despicable parasite bastards, will support it either in deed or by doing what they’ve been doing for decades, which is to assure us, swearsies, that this isn’t the hill to die on but tomorrow, TOMORROW they’ll fight. For reals! Honest they will! We’ll call it “The Conservative Showdown of Next Tuesday™.”

But what, exactly, is it that those expatriates are doing? They’re refusing to be bled dry by an illegitimate, blatantly unconstitutional fascist regime, paying taxes for services they do not receive while, at the same time, having to pay taxes to the country in which they live.

Much can be said about His Imperial Majesty’s native country and their governments’ many mistakes, but at no time did even their socialist government insist that we pay taxes to them while working over here, even before we were a U.S. citizen. We paid taxes to the country we actually lived and worked in, which is fair enough, and that was it.

But that’s not enough for the never sated parasites in Washington DC. You have to be bled dry, even if you don’t live here, for the privilege of… what, exactly? None of the services that you’re being raped for are available to you overseas, your Constitutional rights don’t apply in a foreign nation’s jurisdiction and as far as the “protections” implied in being a U.S. citizen no matter where in the world you are?

Benghazi. Any questions?

That’s how far we have fallen.

And it makes us fucking furious.

Thatisall.

Congre$$ is failing? Let’s elect a new “parallel” national representative assembly that will follow the Constitution–& then allow things to get interesting. It may take a while, of course.

These people are already living and working outside the US. They are American citizens, who happen to have jobs in other nations. What’s galling is that the government is going after them big time – so not only do they have to pay taxes in whatever country they happen to work and reside, but the US is trying to steal… Read more »

I suspect a hellofa lot more would leave except for the costs involved – and maybe some of the more esoteric reasons. I know I won’t leave because(at least for a little while longer) this is the only country where I can practice with my toys in pretty much any caliber I can afford without getting an okay from the… Read more »
