In a firefight less than 24 hours ago, a soldier of Australia’s 2nd Commando Regiment has been killed in action, and others wounded.

Under OPSEC and standard procedure, his name and details have not yet been released.

Yeah…there is normally a 24 hour media/internet blackout ’til the family members can be notified. I fought with Aussies in Iraq, and still think they are some of the best soldiers and friends America has.
