John McNaughton

I found these over at The Blaze. I had not heard of the Artist John McNaughton before, So I took a cruise over to his website. Holy Shit and Shaboodle as my old wingman would say. This man’s work is incredible. You must have a look, especially take a few minutes to watch the video at the lower right corner of the front page there. It gives the artist’s view point and motives for his work.

Here is The Forgotten Man

I think it stands on it’s own and no comment is necessary other than to look at the right side, you’ll see Billy Blow Job and FDR clapping for Obama. There’s a helluva lot of fine detail lost in all my download, upload and the attendant crunching. If you hit his website, they have much more detail there.

Here is Wake Up America

Again we see at the left standing in Ogabe’s gallery are his supporters, the usual suspects.

Do have a look on his website. If you click over my favorite “One Nation Under God” a larger version pops-up and you can mouse over the peeps and get an explanation of why they’re here, along with an even more focused thumbnail. Pretty cool and just awesome work that hits my viewpoints, dead-nuts, spot-on.

Seriously pups, this is a real eye treat, have a look.

We now return you to the weekend OPEN THREAD

I wrote about “The Forgotten Man” back in 2010 when Michelle Malkin posted about it. Interesting that it took almost 2 YEARS for the Mostly Stu[id Media to notice it.
:em07:

You should take a look at his video explaining why he painted the picture.

I know his work too. It’s incredible. And it’s once again getting attention because Rachel Madcow posted his work on her blog, and her her crazed, drooling leftard supporters proceeded to ridicule it.

Fuckers.

The Forgotten Man is another piece of liberal mythology promulgated by the lying shit sack known as FDR. An excerpt from the “Forgotten Man” by William Graham Sumner (a phrase which was suggested to FDR by one of his advisers to characterize the victims of the “Great Depression The Forgotten Man Amity Shlaes pg 13 final paragraph) These illustrations bring… Read more »

I didn’t know John McNaughton was a Mormon, but now I do. It figures. And, Madam President, it’s because the RINO Establishment want him to be POTUS – rest assured, it’s NOT because of something noteworthy that he has done. If Mittens wins, they win. If Mittens loses, they win. It has nothing to do with the good of the… Read more »

LC FX Phillips says:

FDR was a vicious and self serving liar who new nothing about solving the economic mess he was elected to alleviate and did nothing but create fear and uncertainty and by many economic lights prolonged the Depression with his economic policies by years.

I guess that’s why he only got elected president 4 times.

Duke Wayne says:

I guess that’s why he only got elected president 4 times.

Actually, that had more to do with fascism being all the rage in the 30s. Quite popular, it was. So naturally he rode the wave. 1944 had more to do with countries generally not changing horses in the middle of a war.

Duke Wayne I guess that’s why he only got elected president 4 times. Do you think that answer is actually a rebuttal. It actually kind of proves the point. The point of the whole thing was he misrepresented who the “Forgotten Man” really is. The person FDR didn’t care about was the taxpayer and was the personification of A or… Read more »

Well if you revisionists hate old FDR that bad maybe you can get your buddy John McNaughton to dig him up and baptise him again as a Mormon or a John Birch Society member or something.

The vote was 65 to 20, with the Democrats’ voting 36 in favor and 12 in opposition; and the Republicans’ voting 29… Read more »

One unambiguously great thing FDR did was pass the Glass-Steagall act. Can’t argue with that kind of common sense. If that hadn’t been repealed we probably wouldn’t be in the mess we’re in now.

Actually, no. It was the progressives that pushed prohibition. Although bible thumping was more popular among democrats in that day. Even today, blue laws exist in many localities, pushed by religious zealots. In the south, in particular, those zealots are almost always democrats.
