Who Could Have Foreseen?

News out of Iraq, now that president Peace Bringer Hussein has surrendered:

BAGHDAD — A wave of bombings ripped across Baghdad on Thursday morning, killing at least 69 people and injuring almost 200 in the worst violence Iraq has seen for months. The apparently coordinated attacks left a bloodbath just days after American forces left the country.

Well color His Imperial Majesty surprised! Who could have possibly foreseen that withdrawing the only force keeping the Shias from finally reckoning with the Sunni swine who’d been brutalizing, murdering and raping them for decades would lead to sectarian violence?

So let’s check the tally on the Barack Hussein Ogabe scoreboard of foreign policy victories: The pisslamic fundamentalist republics of Egypt, Libya and now soon to be Iraq. Not to mention what’s about to become the once-again pisslamic, Taliban (NOT OUR ENEMIES!) republic of Afghanistan.

Heckuva job, Barry!

Your parents chose your middle name well indeed.

Thatisall.

The way I see it is that we had been in Iraq for the past 8 years and if they can’t get thier proverbial stuff together in 8 years then too bad, so sad hate it for em. We fought our arses off in order to help the Iraqis establish thier democratic government, but there is only so much we… Read more »

“I believe in the transformational power of liberty. I believe that the free Iraq is in this nation’s interests. I believe a free Afghanistan is in this nation’s interest.” -George W. Not so sure this is sectarian Boss since both Sunni and Shia were targeted. I’m thinking more Iranian or AQI who have been biding their time for the announced withdrawal. I’m not ready to give up on the Iraqi people. They suffered way too much and showed their desire to control their own destiny. How many of us have ever… Read more »

There may actually have been a non-stupid reason for pulling out all our troops. Not long ago there was talk of leaving some there, but the Iraqi gov’t insisted on not exempting them from their justice. Not sure I want to blame even Obi-Wrong Baracki for not agreeing to that.

The Leftist fuckwads pulled this shit in Vietnam. The QUISLING Party, the Demonazis, said, “Suuuurrre, we’ll support sending aid to the valiant South Vietnamese after we pull our troops out. But HEY, don’t worry about it! There won’t be any BLOODBATH.” Two scant years later, the Demonazis cut off all funding for the South Vietnamese fighting the Communist monsters —… Read more »

Slightly to the right of Gingis Khan @ #: If they pop off a nuke someplace, Il Douche will probably just want to know to whom he should apologize. If they have a nuke, they WILL use it on us. Their religious dogma demands it. Iran’s constitution embraces the idea of a worldwide caliphate. Islam demands its followers spread Islam… Read more »

Tallulah @ #: Those were and are my thoughts exactly. When the announcement was first made about the pull out I thought to myself –they did the same dam thing to us in Vietnam and it wont be long before they start the mass murdering of each other. I hated the left for it then and I still do now.… Read more »
