Our dear sestrichka, Nicki, has a few words to say about the renewed gun control insanity in general and the backing of RINO fuckwads that it is receiving in particular. You really don’t want to miss it.
We’ll just note the closing line of the post and then you can go read the whole thing.
And for those of you who vomit forth the old “Why would you need a high-capacity magazine” meme, I once again repeat: It’s a Bill of Rights, not a Bill of Needs, asstards. Deal with it.
“Asstards.” I love it. You do me proud, sestrichka.
Thatisall.
Why would I need one? To defeat multiple/well-armed enemies, of course.
“Asstards”…gotta love it!! Can I add fucktarks to the lexicon?
Awww, bratets, I’m honored and flattered! (and I’ll take it!) Glad you liked the rant. I considered being rational, logical and civil, but Rob pushed me to get my aggression out!
I’ve got a 32 round “stick’o’pain” on my Ruger. I was told by a cop, once, that though it’s fully legal in Florida, if I went across the border with it into Georgia, it would be a felony to even possess it. What kind of ass backwards logic is that anyway? What, are we supposed to go back to musket… Read more »
I prefer standard mags, a nice mag well and pads vs. a high capacity mag that sticks 3 inches out the bottom of my 1911’s. I like the balance, I like the weight with standard capacity mags. I tend to follow Jeff Cooper”s line of “If you need more than the 8 rounds in the standard 1911 mag…… you’re not… Read more »
Why do we need big mags? 1/So we needn’t carry multiple guns 2/More bullets fit in them 3/Some of us are just lousy shots, ‘might take a couple more to do the job right n’ end the attack.. 4/Some goblins aren’t happy with just a couple of shots in them and need more. They tend to continue their attacks until… Read more »
LC Cheapshot911, Dept. of Redneck Tech says:
But the New York reload is such a wonderful thing!
The first postulate of the Liberals is that they must try to control circumstances because they do not believe in controlling behavior: (that is, Their behavior.) Somebody posted on the TAS blog, “the culture war is over and the assholes won.” Face it pups. We now live in a rectocracy. Those wielding the executive powers being the self ordained and… Read more »
Not understanding Russian or Ukrainian (transliteration), sestrichka (sissy), sestrichki (sissy), pestunchik (nurseling, nursling, pet, sissy?? How exactly does one take this word?
Well, I found my answer – obviously teh Ukranians don’t like Russians
Sestrichka. Diminutives are generally formed by adding “-ik” or “-chka” to the nominative form. In this case, we want “little sister” so we take the nominative for “sister” – “sestra”, and add the ending “-chka” to make “sestrichka” . My lesson for the day is done
Good article. My respect for Cheney has dropped with him getting on the GFW bandwagon. Remember kids, a 15 round magazine on a handgun is bad, but three 10 round magazines are much safer!
LC Spare Parts says: The first postulate of the Liberals is that they must try to control circumstances because they do not believe in controlling behavior: You got that right. Most laws these days (from federal to local) are based on this principle. On another note: Anthony (of Opie and Anthony fame) was on Redeye, and summed up the only… Read more »
OK, I’m a tard. I can’t find your actual email. I’ll drop you a note on FB. Would that be OK?
Hah!!! Found your email on Facebook. LOL I’ll hit up your gmail. TIA for any info you can give!
Oh, and anyway, this whole “drug testing for gun purchases” is a moot point anyway. The only thing it would accomplish would be to bring back the “waiting period” for purchases as there is no way in hell that you’ll find a test making any legal sense (and good luck defending against the millions of lawsuits from drug-free citizens denied… Read more »
Response to Emperor Misha I @: Bratets, glad you told me all that. Been having some family issues that require said testing, and trying to get the most effective (and cost effective) way to test. As far as testing people for drugs before gun purchase, I still maintain it’s a) unconstitutional and b) will create more headaches than it solves.… Read more »
Funny you should mention that…
Response to Darth Venomous @#36:
As far as having to clear a piss test to buy a gun, I’ve got two words. ‘unfunded mandate’. “gee, we’d love to give you that test, but we dont have the money to buy supplies/train officers/rent space/excuse-of-the-week” “Sure, we’ll do that test for you, the govt fee is 1,000.00USD, plus a six month waiting period, while we ship your… Read more »
People, people… I say that we show some “civility” and “bipartisanship” and meet DJ halfway and we’ll be able to kill three birds with one stone solve three problems at once. “WTF are you talking about?”, you may be asking yourselves… Well, here it is: We’ll agree to this “drug testing” before someone is allowed to purchase their first gun… Read more »
What’s all this crap about piss test to buy a gun? It’s ridiculous. Just one more harassment of the citizenry by Big Brother. Further, like like all such statist nonsense, it would be ineffucktual* at keeping “prohibited persons” from acquiring firearms. The laws on the books now can’t keep illegally acquired/possessed guns off of the street, as is. The day… Read more »
We’ll just leave it to what it says in the Constitution and stick with the 2nd Amendment and leave it at that. Is that OK with you?
Since I’m about as religious as… well… I’m not, I can only draw this logical conclusion: The religious folks believe it was God who gave them life. Therefore, it is logical to assume that the entity that gives you the right to life, also gives you the right to protect that life with the best tools available on the market… Read more »
*sigh* People. . . Note the qualifier “natural”, referring to the concept of “Natural Right”. natural rights, political theory that maintains that an individual enters into society with certain basic rights and that no government can deny these rights. The modern idea of natural rights grew out of the ancient and medieval doctrines of natural law, i.e., the belief that… Read more »
