Don’t chastise yourself Misha, the MSM is running the photo with the rover all over the press including my local rag (AP of course) which is why you probably captured it that way. Can’t recall if it was mission 15 or 16 that had the rover but do recall how great the video was of the moon dust kicking off… Read more »

Rovers went on 15-17…allowed Gene Cernan and Jack Barnes (17) to complete 4 full EVAs and spend the longest total time on the Moon. Also, Harrison “Jack” Barnes was the first non-pilot (read scientist)to qualify for the astronaut program. Common thing now at the ISS, but back then they were all “zipper-suited sun gods”…Yeah,, I’m a NASA-phile, what about it?
