You Thought We Were Kidding, Right?

We weren’t:

Perhaps most controversial is a proposal in Domus, the architecture magazine, by Tom Wilkinson, for the fallen spire to be replaced with an Islamic minaret, to memorialise Algerians who protested the French government in the 1960s.

“These victims of the state could be memorialised by replacing [the spire] with – why not? – a graceful minaret,” Wilkinson insisted.

Jesus wept.

Really..in all truth…the only words that do any kind of justice to that comment , Mr Wikinson, are:

Go fuck yourself with a 30 foot tent pole.

Sideways.

Thatisall.

True, but it was the most brutal method I could think of that was explicitly French.
Had it been in Italy I would have suggested cruxifiction, with ropes, not nails and broken legs.

That would work. But as it is usually not lethal it should only be used as a warm up for Mdm.

Allow me to introduce you to King Fulk of Jerusalem, then. A Crusader king born in France. When someone tried to assassinate him, he took it rather uh….personally. The would be assassin was brought out, and had an arm hacked off, then cauterized with boiling tar. After being given time to recover, the process was repeated with the other arm.… Read more »

There is a strata of English society that is totally bumfuck mad (hellooo Charles) and truly believes in this shit. It is they who allowed the idiocy of “any member of the former empire can freely come to live in old Blighty” and then proceeded to implement the policy. It is a madness that is unfortunately contagious and during the… Read more »

That stratum of English society has always been shielded from the consequences of such actions-much like our own self-styled elites. Fortunately, with the rise of alternative media, those elites no longer completely control the narrative. I suspect that a few outbreaks of serious and formerly subdued diseases traced to illegals may wake up enough people to at the very least… Read more »

Irish, I truly hope you are correct because TB is already on the increase within certain communities not to mention bubonic plague and other poxes. My greatest fear is that the PC culture is so ingrained in the bureaucracy that there is too much inertia for reason to penetrate. It is when people start shooting that they wake up, always… Read more »

Those diseases are on the rise. Indeed, there’s a major measles outbreak going on right now. However, it hasn’t yet spread outside of those certain communities. It will happen, and hopefully that will light the fire.
Shooting is always a wake-up call, and I hope it never comes to that.

Probably fortunate that Diana snuffed it, then. Post-Charles, she was quite a fan of the Islamic guys.

Actually, I think it was the need for $$$$$$ that drove her that way (see how that works). Jackie Kennedy Onassis proved that, eh?
