Have We Reached Peak Stupidity™ Yet?

Going by experience, most likely not.

But the virtue signaling Prozis are certainly climbing up that hill as fast as they can:

ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (AP) — Lilly Diabetes has pulled its sponsorship of Conor Daly’s No. 6 car in the NASCAR Xfinity race at Road America, citing a racially insensitive remark made by the driver’s father in the 1980s that surfaced this week.

Yes, Conor Daly lost his sponsorship because of something his father said. Not something that he himself said.

And his father said it some thirty odd years ago which, for those who can do math above 10 without taking their shoes and socks off, was before Conor was even born. Indeed, he wasn’t even a glint in his da’s eyes yet.

How very Soviet of Lilly Diabetes.

Not only will you be punished for what you do in Prozi Amerika, you’ll also be punished for what your dad, granddad and, presumably, great-granddad did, said or thought. Ever.

P.S.: The expression that is so horrifyingly horrid that the article linked to (as well as almost any other article on the subject we could find) can’t even bring themselves to mention it (probably because the editors are worried about what might befall their great-great-great-great-grandchildren and everyone in between if they print it), is the old figure of speech “nigger in the woodpile.”

Conor’s dad used it, as an Irish immigrant freshly arrived who was the latest member of a race team, to humorously (remember humor?) suggest that if his team didn’t do well, he’d probably be the fall guy.

Which, of course, makes him Literally Worse than Hitler™ in these “enlightened” times. Him and any offspring of his unto the seventh generation.

With every passing day this country makes the Soviet Union look more and more positively libertarian by comparison.

Peak stupidity?
“Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I’m not sure about the former”.
Albert Einstein
“Never underestimate the power of human stupidity”
Robert A. Heinlein
That sums it up nicely.

Stupidity, while not always hereditary, can be contagious and is the guaranteed result of liberalism.

I’m convinced that the will to be stupid is so strong in the Left now that there is no such thing as Peak Stupidity for them.

Is this what used to be called “attainder of blood?”

August 27, 2018 10:21

LC Xystus says: Is this what used to be called “attainder of blood?” Debt accrued through heredity is a burden I’ll just have to bear. Just ask any muzzy how they feel about my great grandfather, into the tenth generation, who pushed the Saracen out of Franc. By the way, with great prejudice and violence. That is a blood debt… Read more »

Yes, Conor Daly lost his sponsorship because of something his father said. Not something that he himself said.

I can relate. I’ve lost my last two jobs because my bosses keep finding out that my grandma’s postman’s sister’s gynaecologist’s housemaid’s stepson taught his parrot to deny the holocaust.

Muzzy – that #7 is near perfect liberal logic in action :em01:

I trust it is flaming sarcasm 😉

Try being a Glow Bull Worming “denier” in the conservation field. You have to keep your thoughts quieter than Anne Frank’s families’ farts after beans, beer and borscht!
