Wanted to let you all know I am well, and just taking things one day at a time. The service was packed, testament to the wonderful and loving lady I had the joy of calling my wife for 23 years.
I am told that you never stop grieving, but that each day becomes a little easier, the pain a little more manageable. Pray to God that is so, I have also been blessed by a loving and supportive family, who have had the grace and wit to know that I would come to them when I was ready,.and who have been with me in spirit every single day.
Nights are hardest, when you wake, and the one you called your beloved is no longer by your side.
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
My deepest and most heartfelt thanks to all of you, your kind words and love meant more to me than you may ever know.
LC Brendan.
I am also proud to say that we raised $500.00 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association at the funeral service. The MD staff were stunned and delighted…I know she would be pleased to see that some good had come of this.
Please do not worry about me, everything is done.
I hope the pain of your loss is beginning to get better Brenden & Wishing you all the best for the future.
It takes time Brendan, but the pain never goes away….it just gets manageable.
Be sure to look after yourself at this time, get sleep…..eat right….and exercise,
you’re particularly vulnerable health wise at this time.
God bless you and your family sir, prayers will continue outbound

A step at a time, a breath at a time, a tear at a time. Praying for you Brendon.
I hardly know what to say since most words seem hollow at a time like this my Brother. The pain does go away, but those fond memories will be with you all your days.
Thoughts and prayers are with you across that great pond my friend.
