In yet another reminder of the absolute mess our presence in Asscrackistan has become, news breaks today that an American Major General was killed by a member of the Afghani military at a training facility. Fourteen others were hurt before the shooter was stopped, some seriously. We have to go all the way back to the Vietnam war for such a high-ranking casualty of war. As of this moment, news continues to flow on this event, and the facts on the ground could change, as they sometimes do. But one fact remains clear: our mission, ROE and overall presence in that godforsaken country has become one giant clusterfuck, courtesy of our fundraiser-in-chief, Der Fubar. What a shocking waste of the flower of American youth, the best of its leaders and the wealth of our nation this conflict has become.
