You Say You Want a Revolution

…and obviously some twat at Newsmax (the original article has since been mercifully flushed, hopefully out of embarrassment) insists that he wants it and somebody else is going to have to fight it for him.

There are a number of things offensive about that article, but what His Imperial Majesty found the most offensive is the apparent notion on the part of the writer that the Armed Forces are going to have to solve the Obama Problem. Excuse me? We think that we’ve already asked quite a bit of our brave men and women, and now this weasel is fantasizing about them solving our domestic issues as well?

Remind us again whose job the Home Front is? Remind us again who, exactly, is supposed to keep the Home Fires burning while our men and women are off in foreign lands protecting us? Yeah, we thought so too. We made the mess, we clean it up. In the nightmare scenario where the ballot box is no longer operable as a method we surely would appreciate a bit of help from our brave warriors, but we’re not there yet and now is not the time to push our responsibility away and demand that the cavalry come riding to our rescue, if ever there is such a time.

His Majesty finds it particularly irresponsible and pathetic to start bleating about “military intervention” at a time when the peaceful, and vastly preferable, solution is gathering such momentum. Even convinced lefties are talking about how it is not merely possible, but even likely that the National Socialist Democrat Workers’ Party are going to get an epic ass-whupping in the 2010 midterms and Newsmax sees fit to publish a load of drivel from an assclown who’s ready to throw in the towel and demand that our Armed Forces come save him?

Pathetic wanker.

Here’s a hint to the sad sack shitheel: Either ruck up, brush the sand out of your vagina and lend a hand to the peaceful solution or just sod the fuck off, swampie.

If that doesn’t work, if the ballot box truly has become worthless, which is a mighty fucking huge “if” at this point, but it could happen, THEN we can start reaching for the emergency brake.

Exactly so, Sire. Let’s continue the peaceful approach until it proves worthless, THEN we hit the 2A “reset”.

  4. 4

Sounds like the liberals are projecting again. :em41:

About the only way the military “might” consider removing the president would be if they canceled elections and suspended the constitution for no good reason.
(Reasons being alien invasion or all out nuclear war)

Even then they would probably ask the FBI to do it.

It would also mean that Congress was aiding and abetting, and that the president’s enemies in congress were now cooling their heals in a prison, or mysteriously dead.

If they did go this route, the would probably put a civilian caretaker in place and get an election going asap.

If you’ve heard of the Author John Ringo, read his book The Last Centurion. He talks about how the military might consider moving, and how they didn’t have to.

There are plausible accounts that President Empty Suit’s favorite succubus, ACORN, by grossly inflating the Election Roles through their usual MOST IMPECCABLE AND ABOVEBOARD EVAH! voter registration efforts, played a significant role in electing the new Senate Clown, Al Franken. Further, there is a sizable body of evidence ACORN the did the same thing in Washington State a couple of years ago as a Dress Rehearsal.

Who’s gonna believe the 2010 Election Results when the Democrat ‘Underdogs’ pull out a surprising upset? I seriously doubt Eric ‘no Black Panther intimidation here’ Holder would question the results. So what if a Voting District records three times as many votes as registered voters? It’s not like everyone else hasn’t packed ballot boxes (see Lyndon Baines Johnson v. Coke Stephenson and the infamous District 13 Ballot Box).

No, Sir, with the lapdog media, ACORN, ACLU and the Democrat Horde playing for all the marbles, I look for even Arlen Spector to get re-elected.

    OK…I condemn this article.

But…he covers many points that are very high in the worries of many people in the U.S. some of them already proven true, some speculated at and others that are more worthy of being scare tactics than anything else.

But his premise of the Military being involved in or the method of salvation or revolution is wrong, and wrong-headed.

Now I can see ex-U.S. Military involved in coming back and running for office in their states or even national offices. I can see x-Mil joining organizations such as The Oath Keepers. I can see x-Mil coming back and setting up local militias, and going to Tea Parties and even speaking at them. I can see them going door to door getting out the vote to get Obama and the Democrats out of office.

I can also see as a last resort, mass resignations of Officers in our Military services.

But in the bitter end, if salvation or revolution is needed for the preservation and protection of this Republic, it will fall to each citizen to stand up, load up and march forward to do it.

The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failed – where the government refuses to stand for reelection and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees. However improbable these contingencies may seem today, facing them unprepared is a mistake a free people get to make only once.

They tamper with the election for a win…….. opens the door for open rebellion and purge of the Socialists from the government pool……. or…….

The elections go properly, and its a long slow road, but you can get them out.

Either way…. 2010 is critical…. kinda puts a new perspective on the whole Mayan Calender thing…. I figure from the election until 2012 is just enough time for a full scale clusterfuck to develop…. not that I buy into the Mayan Calender or Nostradamous or any of that shit, just seems a really interesting coinky dink eh?

Well, if Stop the ACLU is correct about this, it would appear that this is exactly what’s happened.

The fact of the matter is that John L. Perry is not a conservative. In fact his bio page says that he’s worked for Jimmy Carter, a Democrat governor of Florida and other Democrat Party institutions.

Perry also has had a distinguished career in public policy. He served President Lyndon B. Johnson as deputy under secretary of commerce and was a White House speech writer and race-relations trouble-shooter for President Johnson.

In the Jimmy Carter administration, he was executive assistant to the under secretary of Housing and Urban Development and was interim director of public information for the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Perry served as press aide to Gov. LeRoy Collins of Florida and executive assistant to the speaker of the Florida House of Representatives.

Perry was also assistant to the president of the National Association of Broadcasters, a member of the top-management team and director of public relations for the 1982 World’s Fair in Knoxville, Tenn., and an academic fellow at the Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions in Santa Barbara, Calif.

With all that background as a liberal democrat, Perry does not fit the normal image of a “right wing conservative.” Yet not one of the lefty sites going nuts on this story have mentioned this.

    Interesting, no?

The only thing I would really want from the military if the nightmare of a reset ever came to pass would be that they honor their oath and stand down and allow us to do what must be done. However, knowing them as I do, I honestly believe that the majority would honor their oath by standing with us. After it has started though. It would take a real perfect storm of shit hitting the fan for them to instigate a coup.

Add to it, the interpretation of the Second Amendment taught at West Point is not that of the Founders of our Republic which we hold dearest. Am I hearing what it seems here? Denial of the possibility of the requirement for violence? I hope not. I’d far rather not. Commit violence, that is.

Because burying ones head in the sand regarding all possibilities is both futile and foolish. For them to know that, if they keep on, we’re ready to fall back on the “nuclear option” may be what prevents us from having to.

Think about that. We haven’t had a major war since WW II, and that because everybody on the Earth knew that we could simply make them cease to exist. Everything since then has been short of the “that bad” level.

That is what DC must know.

The leeway for the military to decide both that the Constitution is being violated AND that they were required to step in to solve the problem is necessarily very narrow, yet this guy was practically castigating them for NOT doing something.

No, the revolution will not begin with a military coup. The best we can hope for is to convince enough of them that we are right that they sit on the sidelines while the excitement settles down.

The revolution, the “Shot heard ’round the World”, if you will, will begin with a Mother who has a sick child that cannot get treatment under OdumboCare. The baby is white, you know, and a homeless illegal alien is in line ahead of her.

Or a Father who finds his 12 year old daughter has been given condoms by her 6th grade nurse at school.

A family that finds, that even with both parents working, thae cannot simultaneously pay their Federal Taxes, State Taxes, Property Taxes, AND buy food for their children.

Perhaps the people of a major metropolitan area (Chicago? Detroit?) finally realizing that the anti-gun laws they have had imposed on them by their slave masters just make the chains that much tighter.

Or a church, who, because it’s Pastor got up one Sunday and told his congregation that Abortion is a mortal sin, discovers that the church’s tax exempt status has been revoked, and gets a tax bill from the IRS for ten years back taxes. The next envelope in the stack is from the state commissioner of the revenue . . .

Come to think of it, considering the level of rage I see every day, perhaps they SHOULD be hoping for the Military to lead the coup. Otherwise, things might get a wee . . .

I think it is attractive to some to suppose that someone will appear to solve all our problems and change the world into what we want it to be. (like BO was supposed to do for the commies)

But our military isn’t institutionally capable of a real coup. Subordination to civil authority is very heavily impressed on officers and its just not organized to carry out this sort of thing. I suspect they might generate a really good Charlie Foxtrot though if this was tried.

While generally conservative in outlook most military members will follow orders unless they are really outrageous then they will just try and go home.

So my prediction is that if a coup were attempted units would tend to either ignore orders or disintegrate. In a worse case scenario they might even fight among themselves.

Even if say a large number of Army or Marine units decided to end ole’ BO’s pathetic circus they would control only a large city full of choas (DC) and no one would follow their instructions. In this case the country might will come apart.

Even if emery member of the Armed services took part there are not enough people to maintain order, local authorities would have to cooperate. (they wouldn’t)

Sadly I see violence in the future, but this isn’t Rome where a man on a horse like Sulla or Caesar can ride in and put the other side to the sword. I see more of a bloodbath a’la the French revolution but the Pentagon won’t be able to stop it. It remains to be seen who will be on what end of Madam Guillotine.
