We Were WONDERING When We Could Bring Those Back!

…and then the VFW Post 1938 went and beat us to it (h/t LC Jerry):

VALLEY FALLS — The young man was given three choices: get turned over to the police, go one-on-one in a fight with a seasoned war veteran, or be duct-taped to a flagpole for six hours with a sign around his neck identifying his alleged crime: flag burning.

Post Commander Nick Normile, a Vietnam War veteran, said the man came into the post’s bar Sept. 18 on Poplar Avenue and was eventually turned away for not having a proper ID.

Apparently angered, the young man, who Normile did not want to name, cut the rope of the American flag flying overhead and used a cigarette lighter to set it on fire, Normile and others said.

The man sat pilloried as the village had its fall youth soccer picnic with a long parade of children passing in front of him.

“He’ll never disrespect the flag again, I can tell you that,” Normile said.

Normile said the flag had at one point flown over U.S. troops in Iraq had special significance.

Very well done, we salute you!

The story doesn’t report, but it is our deep-seated hope that there was no shortage of rotten food and other vile stuff to pelt the scumbag with.

Awesome is not a word of sufficient impact to convey my feeling about that outcome.

This could be one of those “developing” stories…maybe the socialist will do us a favor and demonstrate or something in proximity to the VFW……wishfull thinking really as they dont have the hutzpah.

I wouldn’t be surprised if “Chuckles” Johnson or some other moonbat idiot starts squealing about the “mistreatment” of the “poor youth”.

After all, he was just commiting an act of “dissent” over the blatant “age discrimination” he had to endure.

Personally, I hope a lot of dogs used him as a urinal while he was taped to that flag pole. 😀

No no no no, Jaybear! Heavy duty duct tape or 100 mph tape and you take it off slowly… very very slowly, and savor every hair and every patch of skin it takes up with it.

Absolutely beautiful. That’s the way it’s done.

However, I must spend this moment to rant: What was the time delay between him burning the flag and the VFW guys stringing him up like the village idiot he was? The news piece makes no mention of how long between him burning the flag and the VFW guys trying him up… all it does is throw around “suspected” and “alleged” alot, and try to obfuscate the details (wow, what a surprise, huh?). Be nice if REAL news agencies actually did their homework and showed the results.
