Taxing The Air You Breathe

The Obamafuhrer has let loose his yapping lapdogs at the EPA on the very air you breathe. (More specifically, the air your breathe out.) We’ve known that it was only a matter of time before they tried it, what the the Supreme Idiots declaring that CO2 was a “pollutant” a few years ago, but now it’s about to hit every American (and anyone who does business with the US) squarely in the wallet, if we, as a nation of free people, don’t let the Socialist assholes in The Biggest Little Whorehouse on the Potomac know that we’re not going to allow them to destroy our country through their Orwellian legislation.

Hop on over to Rev. Anthony’s place and follow the instructions for public comments about this steaming pile of bovine excrement.

As always, please be respectful and non-epithetical if you comment at WUWT.

(Also, if you don’t have WUWT on your “Daily Reads” list, you’ve got a spot reserved for yourself in the Imperial DVD’s o’ Doom™ 360-3D theater. We’ve just recently upgraded it with Smell-o-Ramavision®, so those Rosie O’Donuts/Helen Thomas/Shillary/Janet Reno Menhaden Oil Maidens Marathon videos are going to be even more vile and disgusting enjoyable to those who’ve been sentenced chosen to attend the re-education sessions viewing parties.)

Go to DFW and head west my son. Stay the hell away from Dallas, Austin, and Houston. Fort Worth is the place you wanna be.
Dallas resides in Texas, Fort Worth IS Texas.

Hey now … the city of Dallas sucks, but there are a few of us in its ‘burbs that like it just fine, thankyewverymuch. I would say anywhere outside of Dallas county (as far as living goes) would be good, and would whole-heartedly agree on the suckage of Austin (too many neo-hippies and hippie wannabes) and Houston (dirty, smells, floods, 105% humidity, no zoning, ugly women). Speaking from experience, you probably want to steer clear of west Texas, too … unless you like living in small towns with no trees (except for scrub oak) and nothing to do.

If you’re in the oil biz, it may be hard to get away from the Galveston/Houston area … but there are, again, some pretty nice ‘burbs and surrounding cities.

    Oh I don’t know…..

I have some pretty fond memories of Killeen Texas. But then again, it coulda been the decent righteous patriots I was hanging around with at the time……..place is full of ’em

South Padre was kinda cool too, years and years ago….before it got taken over by the spring breakers.

I’m seriously looking at Texas, but moving from earthquakes to hurricanes isn’t my idea of improving my station in life.

I want one of those jobs in central Texas where you drive the lease and make sure the wells are producing, fix minor problems and report back to HQ at the end of the day.

Or I’d take a nice 8 to 12 hour shift of a site that works somewhat like it was designed to do.

Plenty of places like that around here SoCal. Hell you can work wells right in the middle of town around here. Where else but Texas can you see oil and gas wells right next to shopping malls and high end neighborhoods?

I was just sitting out on my patio having a cigarette in the chilly night air, smelling the honeysuckle growing on the neighbor’s fence. Listening to the neighbor’s party across the street. Dogs barking, planes flying overhead, cars driving on their merry way and thinking….

Why can’t those fucking bastards in D.C just leave us the hell alone? :em98:

    Hmm… Kansas, perhaps?

(On a side note: Nearly every time I go for a walk on West Central. I pass a well which has been in continuous operation since WW I. I just wish it were still running on casing head gas, instead of electricity… I love that PAHkeetaPAHkeetaPAHkeeta sound in the night…)

Make a contribution I wanted to pass along an exciting opportunity to stand up for an important leader in our party, Hillary Clinton.

When she ran for President, Hillary Clinton showed America just what kind of party we are — one that believes in breaking new ground, with opportunities for everyone to reach our highest office. She blazed a trail for women across the country and represented the values and ideals of all Democrats.

Now she needs our help. When Hillary agreed to join President Obama’s administration, she made the decision to continue her lifelong commitment to serving our country. But with that commitment came the reality that she could no longer be personally involved in paying down the debt from her historic campaign.

If you stand up for Hillary Clinton now — as she’s done for this party — you could win one of three exciting opportunities, including spending a day with former President Bill Clinton.

Make a donation of $5 or more now to win one of these once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.

As someone who’s been around political campaigns and candidates for quite some time, I can tell you that running for president isn’t easy. It involves sacrifice, resilience, and an undying commitment to something larger than yourself.

And when President Obama and Hillary Clinton came together after a competitive primary and teamed up to take America in a new direction, they showed millions of Americans that Democrats will always unite to better our country.

Now, as she carries out the immense task of building alliances, confronting global threats, and securing America’s position of leadership in the world, let’s stand up and show our appreciation for her leadership and commitment to our party:

I only found out a couple of months back you blokes still have a form of death tax.

Thats about as foul a tax as I can imagine. It inspired my first attempt at swearblogging, based on an article calling for more of it in a UK lefty rag.

    http://tizona.wordpress.com/2009/04/20/death-taxes-are-morally-wrong-warning-swearblogging/

We currently have one minor party supporting its reintroduction here, but we have out new PM Mr KRudd pising money up the wall like a drunken sailor. I can see the bloody thing being revived as a “fair” mesure to fill the hole hes dug.
