Well… Once again they’ve come out with something that reaffirms His Majesty in his decision back then to work with them, regardless of whether or not we had disagreements on other issues.
In THIS fight, we’re on the same side, and we’re not about to throw friends and allies under the bus because of perceived “ideological impurity.”
As a matter of fact, we could use some Republicans capable of putting out a message as powerful as this:

All right, finally watched the video. I like it. Good piece of propaganda, and I am using the term in its best sense. Does not really matter to me who made it. What matters is that it is seen by many people, and, hopefully, makes them think.
Like I said earlier, I am already convinced that any sort of collectivist/totalitarian model of society it utter garbage, and that human beings deserve better than to be slavish cattle controlled, from cradle to grave, by self-proclaimed “elites”. I do not care what side of the political spectrum the control-freaks come from. If they want that much power, they are not to be allowed to have it.

In truth what I have enjoyed the most are the frenzied attacks by the left. Wait and see what happens if they lose in ‘10. Decrying or making light of gun rights, or gun owners, throwing out the usual droll sanctimony from the usual psuedo sophisticates. Like I say, I smiled….for I know damn good and well what I am capable of with a familar gun in my hands. We many ex military are that way. They do not want a civil war, for they will lose badly, those surviving it. And with my present attitude, it would only be because I missed. So I laugh at them instead…….for in war the highest law is the gun, not a jury or judge. So while I may die in their world…I will not live in it. Nor will some of them. All they have to do is bell the cat. The military has no use for them, the cops hate their guts. They may find their list of supporters quite short, and the list of grieveances against them quite long.
I pray I am wrong…but in my gut I feel I am not….

My question is… How different, really, would things have been if McCain won, when he is such a statist tool himself? None of these politicians have any other interest in mind than total power and control, regardless of the party. Establishment Republicans are just a little sneakier about it than (trans)National-Socialists. Decades of “there ought to be a law!!!!!” as well as ever-growing laziness and entitlement mentality have brought us to where we are now: on our merry way to USSR v2.0, with Nomenklatura openly spitting on any opposition, and with sycophants baring their teeth hoping for some crumbs from the “elites’” table. The whole thing is disgusting.
N@, you have a valid point. It’s quite possible, though, that McPain may have been more open to the conservatives with Sarah Palin on his team. We’ll never know for sure. It was only because of her that he did as well as he did.
