There are those in the Empire who know Jim Treacher, who blogged as “Mother may I sleep with Treacher?”. A political satirist in the same vein as IOWAHAWK, his deft skewerings have discomfited our enemies many times.
Now he has a new [paying!] gig at The Daily Caller [http://dailycaller.com/] with a blog called THE DC TRAWLER. The Daily Caller itself is no flash in the pan. It is run by Tucker Carlson, who is about as conservative/libertarian as the networks will allow on the air [not very, but you take what you can get, even on FOX News where he had a show] and he was a regular “Sunday Talking Head”.
Now that you have the background, on to the meat of the event.
Jim Treacher was the victim of a hit and run by a black SUV last night in Washington. The vehicle was identified by witnesses and the DC police as belonging to the Secret Service. Later information indicates that it may have been another Federal security agency. Here is what he says:

Last night I got hit by a car and broke my knee
Sometime between 7 and 7:30, not long after I got home from work, I walked to the CVS on 22nd and M to get some bread, milk, and a SmartTrip card. I was right across the street from the CVS, and I waited for the crosswalk light to tell me to go before I crossed. I had plenty of time left, according to the countdown clock. I was more than halfway there when a black SUV made an illegal left turn and hit me head-on. I absolutely had the right of way. I yelled something like, “Are you really doing this?” as it hit me before I could move. I landed on my face on the street and smashed my glasses and scraped my hand and immediately I knew something was wrong with my left knee. I lay there screaming and cursing for I don’t know how long, and a crowd of people gathered and told me to hold still. I was sprawled out right next to the yellow line as traffic went by. I gave one guy standing over me the number to the Daily Caller offices and he told them what happened. There’s a firehouse right across the street, so the paramedics were there in just a couple of minutes. They took me to Georgetown Hospital, where I was soon joined by my friends and co-workers Moira Bagley, Tucker Carlson, Neil Patel, and Laura Baños. All of whom I love. Unironically. I was x-rayed and CAT-scanned and given pain medication and told that my knee was broken. I almost passed out twice from the pain. They immobilized it, but if I tried to move it and didn’t get it exactly right, my whole leg tried to close up like a fist and I couldn’t get away from the pain. I’m typing this on Neil’s laptop on my chest on his fold-out bed in his basement and trying to move as little as possible. Now that I’ve written this out, maybe I can sleep. Sorry for the sloppiness, but I just wanted to get it out while it’s fresh in my mind.
One last thing: I’m told by multiple people that the SUV that hit me was Secret Service. If this is true, I want to know why that happened. I was crossing legally, and they just left me there. At the very least, I want an apology. What happened to me was wrong.
UPDATE 2:05pm:
The Daily Caller has been told by federal law enforcement sources that the Secret Service was not involved, and is working to confirm that driver of the vehicle which struck Jim Treacher was a State Department security employee.
I have to note that yesterday during his “Q & A” with Senate Democrats, Buraq Hussein said:
“Do you know what I think would actually make a difference…. If everybody here — excuse all the members of the press who are here — if everybody turned off your CNN, your Fox, just turn off the TV, MSNBC, blogs, and just go talk to folks out there, instead of being in this echo chamber where the topic is constantly politics. The topic is politics.”
Yeah, gotta stop people from listening to all that political talk. And given the previous applications of the “Chicago Way” since January 2009, and the deliberate call out of White House controlled ACORN mobs against AIG employees’ families and of SEIU thugs against citizens attending Congressional Town Halls [and the government deliberately ignoring the assaults on those attendees]; it is not unreasonable for the possibility of this being deliberate to cross a number of minds.
Especially since the DC police’s first response to finding Treacher laying in the street was to charge him with jaywalking. I don’t know about you, but I don’t think that with witnesses [mentioned in other posts on the hit and run] confirming that Treacher was acting legally and the driver broke several laws; the normal default response before an investigation is to charge the pedestrian who was hit.
The original ID for the vehicle was Secret Service, by both cops that they talked to and by witnesses. Follow up seems to show that it may have been State Department Security. It was a reasonable initial assumption because if you live in DC, or are visiting; seeing the armed motorcades escorting ‘those who would be King’ in their identical SUV’s is common, as is seeing them when Buraq comes out amongst his carefully screened and vetted ‘adoring masses’. However, regardless of agency; same pay checks, same ultimate chain of command, same political command influence.
We live in interesting times, times that my ancestors would recognize as such. Things that we once used to dismiss or not even consider are now necessary branches of any political decision tree. We will see. Watch what happens with this. If the investigation peters out, if a special deal of some sort is cut, if it becomes plain that there is a special immunity in effect; then the appropriate conclusions must be drawn.
Keep “Jim Treacher” [it is a "nom d' blog"] in your thoughts and be ready to, as Buraq Hussein Obama told his thugs, “Push back twice as hard”.

As one who lives just over the Potomac River (AKA the DC sewer system) pedestrians are considered “targets of opportunity”. If you check the stats the DC area has the highest rates of H&R, Jaywalking, DWI, driving w/o insurance and driving through the fucking front door of the local 7-11.
People can’t drive or walk in this hell hole. And that’s not even counting the “undocumented aliens” that run your ass over and run like hell.

Thank you for putting this out. This is the first I have heard about it. More evidence that we had all better keep alert for the enemy at all times. Too many good, upstanding citizens have not been alerted to the danger this admin and their minions are to them.

District of Columbia Official Code: § 50-2201.05. Fleeing from scene of accident; driving under the influence of liquor or drugs.
The driver has caused personal injury to a person, and has not stopped to render assistance, nor has he given his name or place of residence to the injured or any witness asking for it.
(a)(2) applies. “upon conviction of the 1st offense, be fined not more than $500, or shall be imprisoned not more than 6 months, or both;”
(c-1)(1): The vehicle probably should have been impounded, if the driver had been arrested.
(d)(3) means as a result of (a)(2), his operating license gets revoked.
Not exactly earth-shaking penalties, but penalties they are, nonetheless. And the driver MUST answer for them, otherwise it’s “One law for thee, and another for me.”
AgTiger, the one thing missing from the “penalties” is the fact that if you have an accident like this, YOU LOSE YOUR JOB! At least you’re supposed to, but like Prophet mentioned, that’s what will happen if it’s not swept under the rug.
But, with “Da Treach” working for a media outlet, there’s a smaller chance of that happening, and if the

if it is true that the vehicle was state dept. i would be very concerned. mr. obama is the first occupant of the oval office in a long time who is not to the right of the state dept leadership.

If it werent for the fact that they left the scene, I would probably chalk this up to a coinkydink. Every swinging DICK out there that gets the keys to a FED LE vehicle immediatly thinks they can drive however the fuck they want to. However, dumbass here left the scene, which makes me wonder what type of SD security are we talking about? You got the contract unifom guys at SD HQ & other facilities and the mgmt that inspects them. Then you got the actual liberal arts college edumacated SD internal security, they run about 70 -30…. 70 being complete fuck nuggets 30 being good guys. And why target Treacher? When you do a BDA on this, the impact / fallout doesnt justify the potential exposure…. granted you want your “message” to be subtle (yet loud in the ears of your audience in a attempt to effect change). More than once, taking a cold solace in full ammo boxes and half a dozen or so hungry guns…….

Well, I just got my taxes done, Guys…..and the forced sale of my wifes 401K changed things a bit….
I took every goddammed deduction I could, getting a grand back from the feds…after paying them thirteen thousand, but this fucking state, as in Kalifornia, gigged me for twenty-two hundred more. I just paid it and I have a ‘tude right now! And I’m slowly going broke. The state doesn’t like it when you try to stand, they want you dependent. I am so looking forward to it going bankrupt. Treacher was served with a drummed-up jaywalking ticket that cited a location BLOCKS AWAY from the actual accident site. Witnesses will be found to support the fed’s claim it was all Treacher’s fault. The Obamatrauma continues, and don’t forget to be shocked at the words on Sarah Palin’s palm.
