And so did everybody else capable of reading a 1st grade textbook without moving his lips.
Step 1: In a pathetic attempt at avoiding election consequences for the most colossal clusterfuck in the history of the United States and to try to pass blame for it on the insurance industry, illegally offer a “delay” of the cancellation of the plans and doctors that people liked and would like to keep, per the Lying King’s lying promise, repeated umpty-seven times.
Step 2: Realizing that this only delays the pain at the polls until October 15, the beginning of open enrollment, which also happens to be a mere three weeks before the midterm elections, delay open enrollment for a month to, ta-da, November 15th.
Nope, nothing to see here. This has absolutely nothing to do with politics, nosirree.
They must really, truly believe we’re stupid. Sadly, based on the results of the last two presidential elections, particularly the most recent one, we’d be lying if we were to say that they don’t have every conceivable reason to think so.
Thatisall.
