We found this on Maetenloch’s Overnight Open Thread.
It’s a thingy that lets you listen to excerpts of every song that was on Billboard’s Top 100 in any given year from 1940 until today.
Enter any year you like and let memory suck you in.
What we found most interesting was choosing the year we were born and finding that almost all of the songs of that year happened to be favorites of ours later in life.
From a year that we were barely born and thus could not possibly have any memory of it.
The only thing that could make this site better would be for somebody to make one where you can listen to the full versions. We’d pay through our nose for that!
