I almost drove off the road hearing this on Glenn Beck’s show this morning. A Louisiana, dyed-in-the-wool Democrat Senator, Elbert Guillory jumps ship to the right side of the aisle and delivers a World Class Smackdown™ to his former party. He pulls no punches and delivers a scathing blow to the Plantation Party, aimed at the black community. This man deserves a medal for his honesty in correcting the lies we’ve heard the left use for decades to secure the minority votes in this country.

As we witness otherwise intelligent people utterly ignoring the fact that the NSA has been proven to take a dump on the 4th Amendment (treason, anybody?) and focus instead on the peccadilloes of Edward Snowden because, hey, he’s kind of a douchebag, isn’t he?
I don’t fucking care if he’s a transgendered polar bear pole dancing in Hong Kong, what I care about is the facts that he revealed, facts that have since been confirmed. What to do about him is another matter altogether.
During an online discussion Monday, the man who leaked hundreds of pages of classified documents about the National Security Agency‘s surveillance program accused the U.S. government of “nakedly, aggressively criminal acts” and said he fled to Hong Kong because American authorities would prevent him from getting a fair trial.
Edward Snowden, who came forward June 9 to identify him as the source of the NSA leaks, also denounced President Obama for preventing investigations of “systemic violations of law,” and suggested the U.S. government might try “to cover this up by jailing or murdering me.” …
In his online Q-and-A hosted by the British Guardian newspaper, Snowden said U.S. officials are lying about government surveillance programs. ”Seeing someone in the position of James Clapper — the Director of National Intelligence — baldly lying to the public without repercussion is the evidence of a subverted democracy,” Snowden said. “The consent of the governed is not consent if it is not informed.”

At this point in our nation’s history, it’s fairly safe to assume that everything that oozes out of a government scuzzfuck’s mouth is a lie. You’ll only be wrong 0.00001% of the time.

You know, there are times when we, watching the foul mess that a once free nation is turning into and knowing, without a reasonable doubt, where it all will and, indeed, must end, wonder if we did the Heirs any favors.
But then we realize that we’re being ridiculous. If this nation is ever to become anything even resembling the free, prosperous city on a hill that it used to be, then we’ll need a future as well as a present, and our children are the future. Without them, there really would be little if any reason to put up a fight at all.
