The Continuing Adventures of the Clitanic

It’s already covered in the post below by our very own Imperial Torturer (if you lazy buggers bothered to follow the link, that is), but we thought it worth mentioning that the Australian ice breaker, Aurora Australis, has given up trying to rescue the Gorebull Wormening Cultists from themselves and their incandescent idiocy.

The Aurora Australis made it to within 10 nautical miles of the MV Akademik Shokalskiy, which is stuck in an ice field, before retreating in the face of freezing winds and snow showers.

“Adverse weather conditions have resulted in the Australian Antarctic Division vessel Aurora Australis moving back into open water this afternoon,” the Australian Maritime Safety Authority said.

Apparently the captain of the good ship Aurora Australis decided against getting trapped in “disappearing” Antarctic ice alongside Gore’s Gullible Gimps.

Good for him and his crew, the vicious, hateful, science-hating “climate deniers”.

So now it’s down to the chopper, or we’re going to have a shipload of Goresicles in a few weeks.

Thatisall.

Would it be wrong of me to start betting on when they begin to think cannibalism is a good idea?

Aww Nuts!! They went and rescued them!!
:em08:
Passengers rescued from icebound Antarctic ship
However, in standard Moonbat tradition, they abandoned the peons, in this case the ships crew, to their fate.

To be fair, you rescue the passengers first and the crew second. The crew has enough supplies to last them and they probably don’t want to abandon the ship.

Hey, I’m feeling some sympathy for the crew being stranded with a bunch of hippies.

“Incandescent idiocy?” In that case, this type of idiocy should be banned by the EPA and outlawed by Federal dictum. I’m sure they actually had twisty CFL idiocy. For the planet, you know. PS: it would have been fun to hear one of the crew shout out “get to the choppah!” at the moment of rescue, but the passengers wouldn’t… Read more »

What is best in life?

To ridicule your enemies, see them and their no-fat latte frappuccinos frozen before you, and to hear the lamentations of their poli-sci coeds!

So wait, they’re trying to blame the weather that trapped them on climate change?

Personally, I think Mother Nature is just trying to remind these goofballs who is really in charge.

looks like the crew decided to stay put, the “scientists” were offloaded via helicopter.
Bet they’re pretty happy to see them gone, can you imagine how painful it had to be
serving on a ship full of smug?

Jaybear, Colonel of Imperial Ancient Artillery @ #: looks like the crew decided to stay put, the “scientists” were offloaded via helicopter. They really don’t have a choice. Would you want to argue with the insurance companies if you abandoned a perfectly good ship? Yes, it’s stuck NOW, but the hull is intact and all systems are good. Bet they’re… Read more »

angrywebmaster says: I have heard that the “Flaming Carnivorous Penguins of Doom” are very disappointed that their meal of fresh two legged herbivores has managed to escape. The Russian crew of the ship have remained and they like the cold and are smacking their lips at the thought of some fresh roasted “Flaming Carnivorous Penguins of Doom” for dinner. Penguins taste like chickens fed a diet of lobster, shrimp and crab. They, not tuna, should hold the title of “Chicken of the Sea”.

Before anyone points fingers at me for this debacle

They are nutters.
They are idiots.
They are loonies.

One or two of them may be from Australia, and that, sadly, is our burden to bear. Be glad we arent exporting them to the USA.

G-d is truly having a gut busting laugh at the expense of the religion that would replace him.

Their fellow travelers on the road who came to their rescue via helicopter after failing to reach them….are now also stuck in the ice.

It’s cold rice instead borscht tonight!

In all fairness, us letting her out of the country to even GO to Oz rather than, say, locking her up in a mental institution gives the Aussies a fairly good case for cutting off relations with us, if you ask me. LOL I love reading about Australia and the people. On top of my list of places I want to go. Based on that wish, I’ve become a bit of a fan of John Pinkney’s books on the unexplained mysteries down under. My husband had a lot of respect for the Aussie military too. If he would have stayed in…I would… Read more »
