Or so our beloved Congress Critters would have the Veterans and Active duty, Reserve and Guard believe.

This is almost one of those “Careful what you wish for – you just might get it” moments After nearly 6 years of not passing one – we have a budget but it’s a Socialist’s wet dream. Here’s some highlights of this latest stab in the back to the Armed Services.

+4 % increase in “domestic programs” (Welfare, SNAP, MEDICAID and Unemployment)

-1 % Cut in military retirement COLA (Cost of Living Allowance). By some estimates, an E-7 with 20 years just took a 70,000.00 Dollar hair cut.

Federal Employees – Exempted. Of course, can’t be hurting the bottom lines of those faithful “civil servants” Obama voters now can we?

After the VFW and other veteran’s group raised holy living hell about this cut, Washing Democrat Senator Patty Murray often viewed as the dumbest woman in congress for such inanities as :

“He’s been out in these countries for decades, building schools, building roads, building infrastructure, building day-care facilities, building health-care facilities, and the people are extremely grateful. He’s made their lives better.”

Who might that be you ask that the dumbest Senator ever to disgrace Congress was gushing over? Osama Bin Laden. I guess that applies as long as you don’t count the people he killed – jus’ saying Patty.

Murray had this to say in regard to the billions of dollars stolen from Veterans.

I want to make absolutely sure today that they know that a provision included in this deal that mistakenly included disabled retirees and survivors for changes in the pension growth will be addressed in short order following passage of this bill,” Murray said. “I think all of us know that our disabled veterans have made tremendous sacrifices for our nation and deserve the peace of mind that their benefits will not be adjusted under this compromise legislation. This technical error certainly can, should, and will be addressed.”

Yeah – right Check’s in the mail Patty. When’s the last time any law such as this was ever rendered null and void again? Oh yeah, that’s right NEVAH! But thanks for pissing on my legs and working so very hard to convince me that it truly is a warm April Shower.  Three news cycles and your promise is nothing but words in the winds.

Adding insult to injury our ever reliable RINO John McCain said :

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., a former prisoner of war, was among the few willing to defend the benefit cut.

“We cannot have continued increases in costs and benefits forever because of our inability to fund our national security,” McCain said. “In other words, the dramatic increase in personnel and benefit costs are such that we really aren’t going to have money left over for the mission, the equipment, and the capabilities.”

Fuck you, you doddering senile old fool, your “prisoner of war hero” card is over played…..”In other words”, what you really said is: “We want our Boon-Doggle Defense projects like “green bi0- fuel” for the Navy costing twice as much as conventional diesel – but a hearty Hi-ho, Merry Christmas, and  sincere fuck you to people who actually served.” And  BTW Johny Rotten McVain? Those would be people who have managed to NOT crash every fucking plane they ever sat in and get captured by a bunch of uneducated peasants with fucking sling shots and clubs running around in black pajamas.

My Christmas wish list of traitorous fucks that catch a bullet in the noggin grows ever longer Johnny boy…. You’re right up there with Hanoi Jane and the rest of the commie rat bastards.

And oh – just so the unwashed masses don’t think they escaped this totally unscathed – Go by a plane ticket to anywhere- it’s now gonna be 5 bucks more expensive thanks to Congress…. the bill includes yet another increase “TSA FEE” to allow a bunch of HS dropouts with nose rings and bad breathe to grab your junk, remove prosthetic breasts, and generally violate your rights against unreasonable search.
