It’s the dues dummy!!

It’s all about the Union dues coffers. How else to explain this? You can’t. Not with out a straight face at least. The very idea of two of the most powerful Teacher Unions in the country fighting this bill is so utterly repugnant I can’t even find words – oh who am I kidding…I got words, lots of them, and ain’t very many of the politically correct variety either.

NEA / ATF Oppose bill that bars sex offenders from Schools

The measure would require school systems to check state and federal criminal records for employees with unsupervised access to elementary and secondary school students, and for people seeking those jobs. Workers refusing to submit to the checks would not be allowed to have school positions.

Imperial Scribe!! File this one under “pure common sense” please. Thanks!

In letters to lawmakers, the unions have claimed the measure might jeopardize workers’ protections under union contracts.

Let me get this straight Unions? You’re the same asshats breaking out in cold sweats and screaming of unthinkable bloodshed and carnage at the very mention of arming teachers to protect children against psychotic killers rampaging through our schools and now, NOW,  you want to give sex offenders full access to our children as well? REALLY?

Sorry not buying it, it sounds like to me, the bottom line here is protecting adults — the same adults pouring money (in the guise of Union Dues) into the NEA and ATF coffers…and the children be damned. If those same adults happen to diddle a few 10 year old kids…what of it ? It’s for the greater good, and really…you can’t have an omelet without cracking a few eggs, or shattering a feel innocent kids minds as the case may be…Let’s be pragmatic here!!!

Chester the Kiddie Molester – no problem, he deserves a Union job – because – Well er, Um….Let’s see. I got nothing.

Far as I’m concerned they deserve nothing but a bullet, but that’s just me, knuckledragging my way through the “nuance” as usual, but of course…. Keith Ellison (D) MN says differently.

Keith Ellison, D-Minn., has spoken out against the bill, saying it does not allow for people to overcome their criminal backgrounds.

Minnesota, call us, we have your village idiot here. I suggest you do it post haste too, the pups here around the Imperial Palace are growling at him…. and that’s never a good thing.

Ever hear of the terms “repeat offender” Keith? Let me ‘splain it to you. Almost 90 % of the convicted sex offenders out there go – right back to what they were doing before John Law grabbed them by the short and curlies. You know, molesting, raping, dealing kiddie porn across the cesspool called the internet with the OTHER 10% of the pedophiles that haven’t been caught yet…..  But yeah sure, no problem, lets give them jobs in education and better yet? Unfettered access to a target rich environment… a school full of unwitting innocent kids. What could POSSIBLY go wrong eh Keith!?!?

Of course – Old Keith ….he’s going to find some way to perpetuate the teaching of his religion, kids be damned  – he is a Mooselimb after all – and banging a 12 year old girl, well that’s just A-okay according to Keith because Mo said so.  As long as you pray a lot and face east that is. But Sex between too consenting adults out of wed-lock ..STONE THE INFIDELS !! BUUUUURN them!!

Tell you what, you pedophile prophet worshiping shit bag…let’s put YOUR kids into an environment infested with a bunch of misunderstood perverted sexual deviants and see how that turns out for you. Oh wait, being a member of the protected political elite I’m sure YOUR kids would never be subjected to the horrors that is now our public school system thanks to people like you – Democrats and their fucking unions. Fuck you both. To Death – if there were ever a couple of poster children for the words “Domestic Enemies” these people are it.

To play the devil’s advocate somewhat… given how frivolously and commonly the sentence “Sex Offender” is tossed about, I am always reluctant to crush people’s lives forevermore for the horrible crime of being a 17 year old boy in the backseat of the car with his 16 year old Girlfriend. The overwhelming number of cases I’ve dealt with were statutory rape accusations, and typically the big-bad DA’s office could intimidate the kid into a plea, (or drag things out until his parents were bankrupt), with all the nifty bell’s and whistles that come with being a “sex offender.”

Also, don’t forget the pranksters who now find themselves branded for life for their lapses in good judgement when the streek the homecoming game. Stupid should hurt a bit – but forever tearing up a person’s life? That’s not justice.

Thanks to this horseshit (and more), the term “Sex Offender” really has lost all value to me. It’s like “racist” when hurled by some frothing Prog-Nazi.

Now, if you want to talk about Child Molesters, Rapists, and other sorts of real criminals, who use sex as a weapon to destroy the lives of others… well now… those folks should be given a fair trial, a just conviction, and a speedy execution.

It’s the height of leftist arrogance that we even have a NEED for a sex-offenders registry. Anyone who’d legitimately necessitate a virtual warning sign bleeping above their head should have been bounced off this mortal coil to begin with.

If he has kids, and taking into account that he’s a mooselimb, then that’s already the case. They presumably live with their mooselimb parents.

I was about to nod vigorously and insert a “but”, and then I read the rest of your comment.

You nailed it. The problem is that we don’t simply shoot the actual molesters and rapists in the back of their skulls.

But since the laws currently don’t differentiate between a serial molester of preschoolers and a guy who kissed his one year younger sweetheart the day after his 18th birthday but before her ditto, we can’t afford the risk of letting anybody in the “sex offender” category into our schools.

As always, government gets in the way of common sense and justice. It’s who they are, it’s what they do.

The president of AFT from 1964 until his death in 1998 was a particularly unsavory sort named Albert Shanker. He famously said that he would start caring about the needs of students, educationally and otherwise, when they started paying dues.

    Looks like nothing has changed.

But kudos to AFT on one point, tho – this makes them more up-front honest about their intentions than the NEA, who claim it’s all about education.

Can’t help but think that this is just another instance of creeping sharia (whether the Prognazi union thugs are in on it or just useful idiots is another matter), especially knowing that Queef “Teach Sharia in Public Schools” Ellison is all on board. After all, madrasas are just cathouses where phony “religious instructors” take turns sexually brutalizing the “students.”
Hey now, didn’t our Beloved God-King Xerxoff attend a madrasa? :em03:

A few years back, we were told by hired security at Michigan Int, Speedway, if we were caught by the Mich State Troopers, that also patrol the infield, urinating outside, behind a motor home etc. that you would be charged with indecent exposure, and placed on Michigans sex offenders list. now we have a motorhome with a functioning bathroom so it was no problem for us, but for some of the people who camp in tents, not so much, you know what middle of the night bathroom trips are like, if you find yourself a 1/4 mile away from one of the bathroom facilities when mother nature calls, you may just be fooked.

Most Americans believe that the United States of America is an exceptional country. The “borders test” proves that people are coming to America, not fleeing from America to exit to other countries.

Republicans and conservatives recognize that the principal reason for our unique abundance is our constitutional restraints on the power of government, separation of powers, balanced budgets, and a minimum of government supervision and interference in our daily lives. America offers a remarkable opportunity for foreigners; no matter what socioeconomic rank they were assigned in their native country.

Most of the millions of immigrants we have welcomed came from countries where the only government they knew was one that made all decisions about economic and social policy. The current level of legal immigration to America adds thousands of people every day whose views and experience are contrary to the conservative value of limited government.

The influx of these new voters will reduce or eliminate Republicans’ ability to offer an alternative to big government, increased government spending, and favorite liberal policies such as Obamacare and gun control. New voters will lean on our hard-pressed health care system and overcrowded public schools to demand more government services.

Amnesty advocates point to the assimilation of large numbers of immigrants in the early years of the 20th century. But that was followed by a national pause and slowdown of immigration from the 1920s to the 1960s, which allowed newcomers to assimilate, learn our language, and adapt to our system of government.

Under current law, 1.1 million new legal immigrants come in every year. The Congressional Budget Office projections indicate that amnesty, plus its scheduled increases in legal immigration, will add an additional 4.6 million new voters by 2014.

An enormous body of survey research shows that large majorities of recent immigrants, who are mostly Hispanic and Asian, hold liberal views on most policy issues and therefore vote Democratic two-to-one. Their motivation is not our immigration policy; it is economic issues.

The 2008 National Annenberg Election Survey found that 62 percent of immigrants prefer a single government-run health care system. The 2010 Cooperative Congressional Election Study found that 69 percent of immigrants support Obamacare, and the Pew Research Center found that 75 percent of Hispanic and 55 percent of Asian immigrants support bigger government.

A Harris poll found that 81 percent of native-born Americans believe the schools should teach students to be proud of being American, compared to only 50 percent of immigrants who had become naturalized U.S. citizens. Only 37 percent of naturalized citizens (compared to 67 percent of native-born citizens) think our Constitution has a higher legal authority than international law.

The Pew Research Center reported in 2011 that, of all groups surveyed, Hispanics have the most negative view of capitalism in America — 55 percent. This is even higher than the supporters of Occupy Wall Street.

The data do not support the notion that immigrants are social conservatives. Heather MacDonald of the Manhattan Institute points out that, “It is not immigration policy that creates the strong bond between Hispanics and the Democratic Party, but the core Democratic principles of a more generous safety net, strong government intervention in the economy, and progressive taxation.”

The current level of immigration, even without amnesty, will add nearly 15 million new potential voters by 2036, a large share of whom will favor the left. To allow this to happen will make Republicans a permanent minority party.

Looking at the political motivation of the groups pushing higher immigration and amnesty, it’s obvious that the Democrats promote large-scale immigration because it produces more Democratic votes. But why are some prominent Republicans pushing amnesty?

The pro-amnesty New York Times gleefully reported on Oct. 26 the front-page news that big-business leaders and Republican big donors are gearing up for a “lobbying blitz,” backed up by money threats, to get Congress to pass amnesty. Big business wants amnesty in order to get more cheap labor and keep wages forever low, and that is a gross betrayal of the legal immigrants who hope to rise into the middle class and achieve the American dream.

The big donors poured $400,000,000 into the campaigns of losing establishment-backed Republican candidates in 2012. They would rather elect Democrats than conservative, social-issue Tea Party-type grassroots Republicans who don’t take orders from the establishment.

If the Republican Party is to remain nationally competitive, it must defeat amnesty in every form. Rep. Raul Labrador, R-Idaho, summed it up: “I think it would be crazy for the House Republican leadership to enter into negotiations with (Obama) on immigration, and I’m a proponent of immigration reform. … He’s trying to destroy the Republican Party, and I think that anything that we do right now with the president on immigration will be with that same goal in mind, which is to destroy the Republican Party and not to get good policies.”
