It shouldn’t really come as any surprise, so we’re just putting it up here to complete the record:
Boehner told the House Republican membership in a [confidential] telephone meeting a short while ago that the Republican leadership will NOT pursue defunding Obamacare, that they will only pursue saving from the sequestration
Yet another “oh we’ll fight, fight, fight fiercely, we promise you. The NEXT time! Trust us!”
Meanwhile, the American health care system is irrevocably destroyed (when was the last time that a mammoth government power grab was repealed?) jobs are lost as employers cut hours to part time and, when O’BoehnerCare inevitably collapses, we’ll all get to know the joys of single-payer “health care” like the Brits do with their NHS.
But O’Boehner and his fellow traitors won’t feel that, of course. They already made sure that they were exempt from it.
Senior GOP aides of a super PAC linked to Speaker John Boehner are lobbying House Republicans to pass the Senate “Gang of Eight” immigration bill, legislation that Boehner has said he will not bring to the House floor.
The lobbying effort is coming under the umbrella of the American Action Network, a nonprofit 501(c)(4) “action tank” led by former senator Norm Coleman, which is touting the “major positive economic impact” of the Senate bill in e-mails sent to individual House Republican offices.
“Positive” if you’re an employer looking for slave labor, that is. If you’re a low-skilled worker already competing for an ever-vanishing pool of entry-level, low-skill jobs, on the other hand, you can look forward to the “major positive economic impact” of having to compete with another 30 million suddenly legalized illegal immigrants, courtesy of the DemProgNazi Party and their collaborating RINOs in the Party of Fighting Next Tuesday™.
Let it burn. And when it burns, we’ll have 535 logs to throw on the fire, screaming and howling as they burn in the fire of their own making.
