I feel terrible for the people of the IRS – The faithful civil servants.

I watched part of the C-SPAN coverage of today’s IRS hearings, as I watched, Former IRS Commissioner Shulman said that  while being questioned by Democrat Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth.

I really couldn’t believe my ears – I was waiting for a punch line of some sort that never came- he was serious.

I guess the other 300 plus million slobs out in America at the mercy of those same ‘faithful civil servants’ of the IRS don’t count Mr. Shulman? Our rights being utterly trampled by you and your agency of thugs and your empathy don’t quite connect? Fuck you. To death. I hope you die choking on your own hubris.

Then to add insult to injury, he has the unmitigated gall to later indicate IRS budget cuts caused this and it “needs more funding”….SERIOUSLY? What planet does he live on…

I’ve been displeased with my government in the past  – but this goes to levels I never thought possible. Disgust. Utterly and completely disgusted with the whole lot of them.

Tree – Rope- IRS Employee…..some assembly required.

Burn the whole thing – right to the fucking ground…..

NOW is the time to scrap the IRS & start over. Get rid of the hundred of thousands of pages of laws & regulations. We need a FLAT TAX for all with NO deductions. Loopholes & deductions is how congress does favors, how they fund their election campaigns & how they get most of their POWER. Thats why we need… Read more »

We need to repeal the 16th Amendment and abolish the income tax. If we are ever to be a free country again we must completely do away with the requirement that the people submit a detailed financial report to the government every year. A government agency that the people live in constant fear of because it has the power to… Read more »

Repealing anything and mandating anything is near useless – when the government refuses to follow the laws it demands we be subject to, any attempts to “work within the system” will fail. Until there are repercussions that involve these bastards fearing for their lives or the lives of those dearest to them, due to direct examples being made of their… Read more »

He was bad, but the other clown was worse. The “I’ve done nothing illegal, unethical, or immoral and stand completely innocent, but oh, by the way, I’m asserting my 5th Amendment rights as to any and all questions” lady was a special brand of vermin.

One thing to keep in my mind among the hubris is that our reps created this monster. Let there be no doubt, Congress loves the IRS. They amongst everything else, desire our money and the power they can wield with it. The IRS is entirely a creation of our own doing. It was so easy for those inside the beltway… Read more »
