Someone screwed up and left a microphone unattended and Al”Tawana Brawley” Sharpton pulled a Joe Biden, making sure to leave little doubt that his IQ is equaled only by a bucket of rocks.

Reminds me of when I was a student at Michigan Technological University. The University painted over all of the many dorm wall-paintings – A tradition going back many decades and a Winter Carnival staple (part of the carnival was the wall-painting contest to see who did the best job. Some truly amazing artwork).
When people complained, the President of the University explained to the MTU Lode that “The Michigan Tech Dormitories are not a place for free thought or expression.” This caused a bit of an outrage, as you can imagine. He demanded – and was granted – a correction to explain what he REALLY meant. “The Michigan Tech dormitories are not a place for unregulated free thought or expression.”
We were all very glad to have THAT cleared up.

A Texas Republican on Monday said President Obama’s gun control campaign is a fraud based on fake messages over Twitter.
Rep. Steve Stockman (R-Texas) accused Obama of trying to make support for his position look stronger than it really is by flooding Twitter with messages from people who don’t exist.
“Obama’s anti-gun campaign is a fraud,” Stockman said. “Obama’s supporters are panicking and willing to do anything to create the appearance of popular support, even if it means trying to defraud Congress,” he added. “I call upon the president to denounce this phony spam campaign.”
Stockman said that in response to Obama’s call for people to tweet their congressman in support of gun control legislation, he received just 16 tweets. But he said all of these messages were identical, and that a closer look at them revealed that only six were from real people.
“The other 10 are fake, computer-generated spambots,” his office said in a press release. As evidence, he said these 10 tweets use default graphics and names, and have not engaged in any interaction with other people. Two of the tweets were sent at nearly the same time, and both follow just one person: Brad Schenck, Obama’s former digital strategist.
No to the rubber room, he’d just get let loose again. Put him in the trunk of a car and see if he can shoot himself ten times.

Battle-space preparation takes a long time if one intends to do it right. Were I you, I’d be looking over everything from a logistical standpoint. Hows your PT? Got caches? Got backup food/water/power? Got training? Observe. Remember. Plan. Practice.
Then act when opportunity and necessity co-mingle. Take that energy, that anger, and turn it into productive output.
Dear Al,
1. The original reason behind gun control laws in this country was because the Democrats in the South wanted to protect the KKK from those uppity blacks who suddenly were human beings in the eyes of the law.
2. The Founding Fathers never saw an M16 but they would have been delighted at how well they could kill British soldiers with it at a longer range than most weapons in existence back then.
3. Every right is balanced with a responsibility. You don’t have the authority to demand that rights be taken away from us.
4. Yes, we are in a world of drones and lethal weapons. By any chance, have you heard of Chris Dorner? Substandard Navy Officer, substandard LAPD cop but he paralyzed Southern California with only a few small weapons. Drones didn’t do much to stop him.
He’s right you know. Only those who have their law firms on speed dial have “unregulated Rights.” After all, only the legal profession is the only one unregulated.
So am I to understand that the Rev. Not-So-Sharpton doesn’t have a right to unregulated rights under the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments?
