Perfect. Just found a better youtuber version and I’ll be posting it later today.

Tie this in with the people in Buffalo NY basically saying that it’s time to organize the militia against Cuomo and the liberals might just begin to understand that they have reached the Rubicon.

Now to deal with the jackasses in the Minnisota legislature.

I think there’s a similar section in the New York constitution. I’m waiting for Cuomo to get slapped upside the head with that one as well

Here’s the section of the constitution of the Soviet Commonwealth of Massachusetts that sired the second ammendment of the federal constitution:

    Article XVII.

The people have a right to keep and to bear arms for the common defence. And as, in time of peace, armies are dangerous to liberty, they ought not to be maintained without the consent of the legislature; and the military power shall always be held in an exact subordination to the civil authority, and be governed by it.

…and yes, it is still in force; not that you would know it from reading our current laws. “Assault Weapon” ban and magazines limited to ten rounds are the rule of the day here in the “Workers Utopia of Next Tuesday.”

I don’t live in the People’s Republic. My family went over the wall back in ’62. I am forced to work there…sort of. I actually work at home buy my office of record is in Mass.
    :em08:
I recently attended an NRA safety class in MA. Did quite will, but had to use the provided firearms. I can get a permit now if I want to. (I don’t want to) There was a mother and her smoking hot red headed daughter taking the class as well. I think they are looking at carry permits when SHD, (Smoking Hot Daughter) has her 21st birthday in a couple of months. They are not looking forward to all the crap they will have to go through.
    :em08:

On the other hand, I took a practical handgun class in NH. (When I live) Brought my own 9mm Beretta and blew through 300rds and learned a few things. Eventually, once I get a cou8ple more classes under my belt. I plan on getting my carry permit. The form is filled out and all I need to do is hand it in to the police with $10

After You Shoot, Your Gun’s Hot, the Perp’s Not Now What?
I got it primarily to educate myself on what to do if ever in that situation, but found it was also an excellent insight into legal defense in cases such as the current Zimmerman-Trayvon Martin circus. Korwin prepared this with a team of gun and lawyer consultants (two of whom are personal email friends). While he gives no cookbook answers, he clealy describes the disagreements among the legal professionals. Quite fairly, he presents particularly the arguments contradiction his own views. Not only good for preparing one’s self for a possible crisis, but also for better understanding the news. Well written and maybe a little pricy if never needed, but priceless if it ever is.

I have a question for the masses. If blacks had gun rights and had equal firepower weapons in the antebellum south, would there have been slavery? I contend that you can not make a slave of an armed man, no matter his color.

I work in second worst ghetto in Chicago and see the effects of the ruling junta on daily basis. As long as the monthly wealth distribution checks keep coming then the local perps are peaceful. When the checks run out and that looks to be soon, there will be a very pissed off class of angry people demanding retribution for their plight. Having them disarmed might be the safest course of action for the ruling class. The rest of us will have to fend off the hoards by our selves. Stock up on body bags we are in for a bumpy ride.

I haven’t had the opportunity to handle the Ruger, but I was just issued the Smith and Wesson M&P 45; turned in a Sig P226 R DAK, 0.40 cal. The Smith is an easy firearm to use. It is well built and easy to disassemble and clean. I scored highly in the qualification course, even though I went into the training cold, having not been to the range since Hector was a pup. Best of all, it is built in Springfield; parts are easily available, especially considering you could drive to the factory/academy/store in about 1.5 hours, give or take. The model I have doesn’t have the “safety lever;” we don’ need no stinkin’ safety.

Give it a try out. I think you’ll like it.

I’m also looking for something to carry concealed as well. I still want a .45. I’m a ways from applying for the permit though. (Want more training!)

Picked up some 9mm yesterday. FMJ and JHP. Price wasn’t out of line. No .22LR available which surprised me. .223/5.56 available was frangible. Not interested in that yet. (Still need sights for my new AR. Still on order)

The six 30rd Pmags I ordered from Brownell have shipped. $15/ea. Saw the same ones yesterday for $50/ea. :em06:

When Peter I (so called The Great), the Tsar of Russia introduced conscription for his new army, he did so into a pupulation over ninety percent serf. Consequently when a serf was drafted, he was conscripted for life, however short or long that might be. When conscripts left for the army they were given a funeral because they would never return.

If it was any compensation, once in the army the former serf could gain promotion through skill, heroism, and (primarily) luck.Since Peter’s Table of Ranks granted nobility to individuals who rose to a certain rank, it would be theoretically possible to rise from serf to hereditary nobility, though whether this happened in practice is not established.
But the bottom line, those who learned the use of weapons were forevermore dangerous and could not return to their community.

if i recall correctly free blacks in the south owned firearms and slaves. the laws that disarmed blacks came after the great unpleasantness.

Yep, I have them in my bookmarks. Since I’m still waiting on the sights for my EBR, ammo isn’t a priority for it. Picked up a box of 9mm 124 grain FMJ and some JHP. The former was about $18 the later $27 Since I’m using the JHP for home defense, I’m not complaining to much. ($1+/rd for it)

Sort of, I was thinking at the start of the slave trade, when one African tribe conquered another and sold them off into slavery. If the tribe doing the conquering ran into a tribe adequately armed would they be conquered? I think not. As to today, my tribe will resist all attempts at enslavement.

My spousal unit used to think I was a little off when I spoke about the encrouchment of the government and the efforts of the liberal left progressives. I’m talking 20 years ago when she worked for her church wide headquarters. Even 4 years ago she voted for the blight bringer. Today, as she has seen her church adopt one progressive position after another in the name of diversity and political correctness she will not support that church with one dime. They not I removed the wool from her eyes to the point that she wants to string up every last liberal she comes across. G*d I love that woman. She’s a keeper.

And they did it with only 30% support of the Colonial population.
