To explain it simply.  I’ve sent this to all on my mailing list, posted it on Facebook…and now here.  This judge rips the Journal to shreds!  A true delight to my soul..

And Journal News originally got that information form some State employee. Shouldn’t the public know the name of the specific employee who released the information, and her chain of supervisors? Medical personnel who violate the Privacy Act can be held liable and punished. Everyone involved at both the State and the Newspaper needs to spend some quality time at Greenhaven. As well as being held personally liable for any injury, either physical, psychological, or reputational to the citizens of New York. Time is long overdue for payback and making an example.
Why not publish the photos and licence plates ofd those who choose to work as security guards enforcers for the paper? They have become accessories after the fact, and should also be held accountable for what they enable.

I think the judge may have missed an option. What laws, if any, under Privacy did the Journal break?

Gladiator. . . .you’re **NOT** going to like this. I stopped giving to ANY charity where I do not personally know the recipient and their character.

51% voted for King Putt. . . .let them go to him for help. Likewise, any Liberals in trouble ?? I just laugh, and the ONLY time I wouldn’t piss on them, is if they were on fire. . .

NOW. . .as to the Journal. There have been at LEAST two burglaries of gun-owner homes since the Map, and guns were the target of both. Sounds to me, like constructive negligence on the Journal AND their editorial staff and the reporters involved.

Sue them into the next millenium. And as damages, ask for the NEWSPAPER as damages. And then, after firing the staff involved with predjudice. . . sell it to Glen Beck or similar. . .

I just wish that Judge Pirro would quit mincing words and tell us what she really thinks… 😉

My comment:

This poor grammar is becoming far too common. Let’s work hard to start being more consistently correct.

there – that place
their – belonging to them
they’re – they are

its – belonging to it
it’s – it is

Our credibility is negatively affected by this stuff.

Now on to the video … Can’t wait!

End of story, indeed.

“We don’t need your sanctimonious permission.”

Sadly, executives and legislatures in Washington, DC and in all fifty states disagree, as do the judges that are supposed to keep them honest.

The real answer here, of course, regardless of whether you are a victim of shootings, a gun owner whose rights have been violated in this incident, or just a potential gun owner whose rights are violated by the existence of illegal federal and state laws, is simply a reinstatement of the Second Amendment itself, complete with its expressed prohibition against any barriers to gun ownership (or the ownership of any weaponry whatsoever, for that matter).

The NRA is a bunch of weenies. They advocate enforcing gun laws that already exists. What they neglect to stand up for is the fact that those laws are as illegitimate as the ones whose creation they are fighting. If you don’t want to be branded a hypocrite, then don’t engage in hypocrisy. You can’t defend the Second Amendment AND “existing gun laws” in the same breath without doing just that.

LC & IB RightWingRocker @ # 16: I’ve said, a myriad of times, that any gun law inflicted on anyone in this nation since 1791 is UNCONSTITUTIONAL! What part of “The Right Of The People To Keep And Bear Arms Shall Not Be Infringed” is so apparently hard to understand? Any existant gun restriction is directly in violation.

I think that the editors and publishers of the journal keep gold in their homes therefore their names and address need to be put on the net.

:em01: :em01: She tore them up like an A-10 shredding a target!! I showed up at a Gun Appreciation Day rally yesterday, and my sign said “GUN CONTROL LAWS AID CRIMINALS”, it made it into today’s paper. I was interviewed by some saccharine liberal whose arguments I shredded, I first said that “Gun-Free Zones” need to be banned, because all they do is guarantee these coward shooters that they’ll have an open, resistance-free shooting gallery, and the facts prove it. I also told her that I truly believe we need Gun Law reform in the USA, every city, State, and County should have a Gun Ordinance just like what exists in Kennesaw, GA. Yes, their per capita Violent Crime rate took a nosedive shortly after that was passed, and it’s still nice and low. Liberals that screech for more Gun Control are like livestock rushing down the chute to the slaughterhouse, pushing those ahead of them in line in a hurry to get there themselves.

Pursuant to your complaint about grammar:

I did obtain a chest CT on this patient.
I obtained a chest CT.

I do feel that a diet and exercise routine should be started.

I feel that a diet and exercise routine should be started.

This sort of grammatical crap makes it maddening to read other people’s notes. I keep wondering why they “did do” something when they could have done it instead.

Another point, while I’m on a tirade: I’m getting sick and tired of reading and hearing about how people feel. Feeling is a matter of mood, and as Frank Herbert put it: Mood’s a thing for cattle or making love or playing the baliset.
People need to start talking about what they think.

This might seem pedantic. I’m not sorry. The state of language today is so poor you can barely talk to anyone without someone’s precious feeeeeeeeeeeelings getting hurt, let alone communicate a single worthwhile thing. (This is one of the reasons why the Rott is such a breath of fresh air.) The purpose of language is to elevate concepts to percepts, so we can transfer them from one mind to another. Language is the substance of thought. The fucking libtards have had decades to “deconstruct” our language and turn us into a race of rutabagas. (Ever wonder why you can’t have an intelligent conversation with a liberal? Now you know.) There is an intent behind this.

You can’t, you know, like, sorta OODA-loop the, ummmmm, you know, other guy’s like world, if like, ya know, ya can’t really think in the first place, and stuff.

(Behold the future of medicine under Obamacare.)
