Depends on What You Mean by Failure

Depressing read of the day, in which LC & IB Mike starts counting the ways in which Øbamandias has “failed”.

He’s gotten the first big step towards government health care implemented, and the Republicans are either unwilling or incapable of doing anything at all about it. He’s institutionalized previously unimaginable levels of federal spending, and has the Republicans dithering ineffectually over whether to cut a hundredth of one percent out of it or hold the line at a Draconian tenth of one percent, having conceded without argument that any truly meaningful reduction in the size of the federal government, even back to its Leviathan 2008 status, is just out of the question.

He’s effectively destroyed the domestic oil industry, resulting in gas prices that are around four dollars a gallon and will most likely be approaching five by the end of the summer, just as he said he wanted back during his campaign. He’s running a large chunk of the domestic auto industry and influencing the business decisions of the rest of it through Zombie GM. He’s rewarded his friends on Wall Street and at GE while wrapping their competitors in reams of new red tape, playing the corporate-fascism card to advance his own nefarious agenda.

And it gets worse from there on out.

Again, saying that he has “failed” can only be true if you start from the assumption that he truly is what the pragmatist limp-dicks of the GOP call “a good man” who “loves this country” etc., blah, blather, blech, NONE OF WHICH IS IN EVIDENCE ANYWHERE WHATSOEVER.

If you start, instead, from the assumption that he is exactly what his actions, writings and past suggest that he is, namely a socialist tranzi hell-bent on destroying everything that this nation used to stand for, then his presidency has been a massive success so far.

If you haven’t already, then click on the link above and read Mike’s list. All of it.

He has been offered enormous amounts of aid and comfort from the Make Believe Media who have lied, obfuscated, spun and deflected to hide every single thing he’s actually done as well as a spineless GOP and a horde of nadless “conservative” pundits who fear being called “extreme” or “racist” much more than they give a shit about preserving a nation that used to be free, prosperous, strong and just, dickless suckweasels who beat the retreat at the slightest hint of being called mean names by a coordinated propaganda effort which will call them every bad name in the book regardless of what they do or say.

“Is it considered nobler to suffer in the mind the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or by opposing to end them?”

The “pragmatist” punditry seems to have found a third option to Hamlet’s conundrum: Run for the hills, pissing their pants while giving away the store to the barbarian hordes already inside the gate.

They and the flabby surrender monkeys who were elected on a clear mandate to put on the brakes, no mercy, no surrender, no compromise, and who are now busy forgetting every word they ever said on the campaign trail, just like every other RINO fucknozzle before them.

Stopping the insane, disastrous spending? Oh sure. They’re currently trying to make a deal with Satan the Democrat Socialists to cut $30 billion from the budget, which is not only a bloody joke compared to the $1.6 trillion dollar deficit in it, it’s also quite a bit less than the $100 billion they promised that they’d fight tooth and nail for.

Defunding ØgabeCare, something they actually CAN do since they hold control of the House? Off the table. Defunding the EPA to stop them from enforcing, illegally, a policy that would never get through Congress? Off the table.

Oh well, we guess we can talk about that later, but right now they’re doing diddly squat about it, and that just won’t do, particularly where ØgabeCare is concerned. You see, if that one is not killed, and killed dead right fucking NOW, it’ll be implemented in a couple of years and, as we all know, once a government boondoggle has been implemented, it is never EVER going to go away. Øgabe and the Democrat National Socialists know this and they’re busy running down the clock while the GOP “Tea Party” Freshmen are busy playing with their dicks, hiding under their couches from the horrid, deadly consequences of being the subject of a sneering editorial in the “Volkischer Beobachter” New York Times.

“Can’t we all just get along?”

No, we can’t. The time for “getting along” is long past, and the more the braindead cowards of the GOP try to “get along”, the closer we get to turning into Greece. And when that happens, “getting along” won’t even be in the dictionary anymore because, as scary and destructive as a bunch of Greek rabble armed with canes and loose bricks might be, we rather think that 80 million highly trained and well-armed Americans would be worse.

But should it come to that, and pray to G-d that the GOP discover their communal testicle before that, then we have a list of 535 names that should be the first to the wall, because it will be their responsibility first and foremost that it happened.

As a matter of fact, the ones on the list that count themselves as Republican should be the very first because you can’t really blame the Democrat Socialists for being what they are and acting as such.

Cowards and traitors, on the other hand…

Thatisall.

Here’s some MATH for the idiots/ignoramuses.

    1.6 trillion — $1,600,000,000,000.00 equals THIRTY Operation Iraqi Freedom — $54.4 billion in 2003.

Thirty Iraq wars. Our current deficit equals THIRTY IRAQ WARS. :em98:

Put that fucking meme out there, and hammer it into every concrete fucking skull you come across. :em41: For the ignorant, just ask them, “Do you realize that the deficit equals 30 times the amount spent for the Iraq war? :em98:

Here’s another meme. Ogabe Fuckface is standing on the garden hose, telling us to water the lawn. He needs to get the fuck OFF AMERICAN OIL PRODUCTION and STOP sending hundreds of millions of OUR MONEY to fucking BRAZIL to do THEIR OFFSHORE OIL DRILLING.

That fucker sent $300 million of OUR money to fucking Brazil. Then went down their and sucked their dicks, asking them to pretty please! sell us some of that oil I just gave you the money to drill! They told him to take a hike: they’re going to sell the oil to their own citizens, and we Americans can go fuck ourselves.

Shithead is also sliming and smearing our nation and our citizens at every opportunity. Gerard Vanderleun wrote a brilliant piece on Ogabe the Malicious Destroyer of America. It’s simple, really. If you take the premise that he is a Communist/Muslim mole/sympathizer/fellow traveler, all his actions make perfect sense.

The Repubs are suffering from the Battered Republican Syndrome, a variant of the Stockholm Syndrome. Like Patty Hearst, they’ve been kept in a closet, raped regularly, and totally robbed of their manhood/womanhood.

I was hopeful when they first went to the Capitol cesspit, praying that they’d divert the Potomac to clean out the Augean Stables of Congress, like Hercules. But, like a damp squib, they just farted this 1/633rd piddly-ass, good for nothing “reduction.”

    Fiddling while Rome burns.

BUT don’t lose sight of the True Enemy — the evil Marxist fuckers/tyrants who want to enslave us. For that’s their aim — nothing less than slavery. “Exchange your dignity as a free human being for three hots and a cot. Let US take care of you. Swoon into the arms of the STATE, let everyone else pay for all your shit. All you have to do is vote for Me, George Leroy Tirebiter.”

One more thought. Ace’s motto, that it’s time to roll up our sleeves and start slitting throats, is spot-on. We need to be exactly as ruthless and vicious as our enemies. People like DJ are “chaff,” the metallic scraps the fighter planes spew to distract incoming missiles. PAY NO ATTENTION to these distractions: they’re designed to make us turn to defend ourselves against bullshit and lies, and they are a diversionary operation.

Attack, Attack, Attack. We have a target-rich environment. Go into enemy strongholds and proclaim the appalling truth of what America’s enemies are doing. Make it concrete, use metaphors, let your passion come through. Kick them right in the nuts. :em12:

CLASS WARFARE is the base for the REVOLUTION (we should call the child by his name). Exploitation, oppression, discrimination, were the MOTIVATORS, or the means of incitement.

After the Industrial Revolution the PROLETARIAT became – the first TARGET population. Once the proletariat was nearly exhausted, NEW POPULATIONS were targeted in order to broaden the base. RACIAL (“people of color”) groups were a promising target to be mobilized and manipulated on the basis of past grievances, discrimination, colonization, imperialism etc.

The explicit promise of the Revolution was EQUALIZATION, but the implicit target was DOMINATION (turning the social pyramid upside down). The paternalistic elite knew that the target is unachievable, but nonetheless, the amount of “sustainable energy” (hate) it can ignite is priceless, and it assures that the “army” will remain dependent, and will not lose the motivation to fight (until the final Revolution will be achieved).

GENDER (feminists and homosexuals) is already the next “discriminated class” to be mobilized in the service of the revolution, and more populations are coming (children?).

Financier and progressive activist George Soros is formulating a move to control food and grain production by purchasing grain elevators in late March in several parts of the United States through his subsidiary company Gavilon Grain. With some purchases made on March 29th, Soros will become the third largest grain company behind Cargill, and Archer-Daniels Midland.

With strong ties to the Obama administration, Soros now has both the economic, and political clout to begin consolidation of purchasing and shipping domestic agriculture around the world.

The simplest way to get out of deficit spending is to raise taxes back up to where they were prior to Bush.

IF, and it’s a big if, we knew that the administration would use those taxes to pay off the deficit (which totally belongs to Bonzo now), we might be more amenable to it. But all an increase in taxes would do would be to bring in even MORE money for our administration to spend, thus increasing the deficit even more.

If the administration is going to raise taxes, they need to CUT THE SPENDING, as well. What happens when people can no longer afford to pay taxes?

Maybe you have enough money where you can see an increase in your taxes, and you still can go out and spend. I don’t. If my taxes go up, I don’t spend as much, so there’s not as much money going to the economy. I think that’s probably true for the average family. Taxing the rich won’t make any difference as long as our government keeps spending us into oblivion.

NO NO NO, Gingis! THINK! Corporations NEVER, ever pay taxes … their customers do.
Every time some marxist rectal orifice says that corporations need to pay their fair share, they are saying, “I don’t pay enough for the shit I buy.” Whenever a government raises the corporation tax, the price of the good or service the corporation provides rises. Taxes are figured into the price of the good or service the same as the price of materials, labor, and all the other inputs. When the price of labor goes up, so does the price of the finished product. Ditto raw materials, overhead such as lease, rent, or mortgage payments, utilities, etc.
Abolish the corporation tax with the proviso that the corporation will reduce its price for its good or service accordingly. Then, no government bailouts, no government assistance, no tax refunds, no nothing from the government.
It’s like the a$$h()1es that say that we need to raise the minimum wage because people who make minimum wage can’t live on minimum wage. Then when it is, wonder why the price of everything goes up, and employment of the unskilled, inexperience workers goes down, with the result that people who make minimum wage still can’t live on minimum wage. :em98:

You are absolutely right about that. If said gas company uses PA’s roads free of charge and thus is able to supply their products cheaper to the whole US, two things happen:

    1) A good (roads) was used and thus costs (maintenance) was incurred by PA citizens.
    2) Additional utility was created in the form of cheaper products which benefitted both PA and non-PA citizens.

The problem here is that the costs are born by PA alone while the utility benefitted everybody. It is thus a problem of a negative externality. A specialized tax or a usage fee is generally considered to be an adequate tool in this case because it ballances the positive and negative effects of the externality. In this case, all customers of the gas company would pay for maintaining the roads that the company uses to create their product.

But the fact of the matter remains, companies don’t pay taxes. They pass them on to their customers. One could also simply tax consumption only. In that case a part of that consumption tax could be used to pay for PA road maintenance and a similar effect could be achieved.

Who has controlled either the White House or both the Senate and the Congress for the past eighty years. Could it be….DEMOCRATS? (I really wish I had that Church Lady ‘Satan’ soundbite, but hey. Imagine it, okay?) Which party has robbed social security and filled it with a bunch of IOUs? You see, in accounting, we look at the numbers and the nature of the IOUs (currently bonds and mortgages) Prove to me that deficit spending is the way to get ourselves OUT OF AN ECONOMIC SLUMP. You can’t, because you have to deal with inflation, which is a byproduct of ‘economic stimulus.’ Prices fall and become affordable when people hold on to their money, and that holds true for governments. Let me point something out to you: I collect antique schoolbooks. I found one US history book that showed we had a surplus in the budget and did not have debt.
That means pre existing debt was paid off. What holds true for corporations holds true for governments. Here is how: Government’s job is to stay in business. So is a corporation’s. How do they both do that? By raising revenue. Government taxes, and then spends money on itself or social programs. It does not sell goods, and provides services. Businesses, OTOH, raise income by selling goods or services. A government, by definition, can’t go out of business UNLESS it is bankrupt, and that usually means it can’t pay its debts. Then it either goes away or is restructured. If a corporation goes bankrupt, it can either restructure or go out of business. A government relies on its ability to raise revenue by taxation and fees for services. A government is *koff, koff* a not-for-profit. It is not supposed to hold on to surpluses. You know why? Because a surplus means that government can lower or eliminate taxes and be self-sustaining. Take a look at North Dakota: They have an initiative on the ballot to eliminate property taxes, and the state is ROLLING in surplus money. If the state invests the money wisely, it will not have to raise taxes, increase spending or borrow money. That makes it a secure entity.

Just my two cents and you can disagree if you life.

    DJ Allyn says

The simplest way to get out of deficit spending is to raise taxes back up to where they were prior to Bush. You know, the period of time when we actually balanced the budget and even had a surplus.

No. As other’s have pointed out the fastest way to stop deficit spending is to stop spending.

If your business is bleeding red ink the first thing any business owner would do, since the lag for getting paid is any where from 30 days plus(assuming no line of credit), is to cut expenses. That is under the business owners control. The inflow of cash from clients and customers is not. The same holds true of government only more so. They are dependent on a percentage of the net inflows from private enterprise. If private enterprise is down so are the receipts of the government. Adding one more expense to the burden of the taxpayer creates a downward cycle leading to even less tax revenue. A tax increase may lead to a short term boost in revenues until the taxpayer is able to adjust and shelter more income in more advantageous endeavors or in the case of large corporations park it offshore. Eventually tax revenue settles down to about 18-19 % of GDP as it has been historically regardless of how high the tax rates have been.

The left appears to think that everything effects human behavior except changes in the tax code. This is just another delusional bit of received doctrine in the church of the secular socialist. By the way the reason the budget ended up balanced was because they lowered the capital gain tax rates which encouraged more buying and selling of financial assets.

Politicians know what the historic rate is and yet they insist on spending above that. That in my book is downright malfeasant if not outright criminal. Even the so called balance budget amendments I have seen bandied about do not take this into account. If you take in 19% of GDP but fork out 21% of GDP you still have a deficit.

It is obscene that the top marginal tax rate in this country is 35% and the tax on distributed corporate profit is 50%. How much more do you want the so-called rich or anyone else to pay? This doesn’t even contemplate state and local parasites and the unseen tax represented by inflation.

Perhaps if your feeling under taxed you can visit these people I’m sure they’ll be glad to take your money

The government won’t deter you or Warren Buffet or Bill Gates or Steve Jobs or any of the liberal hypocrites who bitch and moan that they are taxed less than their secretaries if you wish to pay a little bit more. By all means, if you feel the tax code unfairly benefits you re-figure your tax with out all the exemptions and special treatments and send the money to the above address. I’m sure they will be appreciative.

Where was all of your concern over the deficit spending throughout the past decades. (Yes kids, decades — we’ve been running deficits for quite some time.)

Who says there was no concern? Is vastly compounding the problem somehow OK?

I think your reality check is NSF.

    Response to Grammar Czar @:

IF, and it’s a big if, we knew that the administration would use those taxes to pay off the deficit (which totally belongs to Bonzo now), we might be more amenable to it. But all an increase in taxes would do would be to bring in even MORE money for our administration to spend, thus increasing the deficit even more.

We all know this is what would really happen.

    LCfxpcpa,
You ignorant slut. You are such a tease. You know the government does not have a fiduciary responsibility to the taxpayers. That would involve adult behavior and saying ‘no’ to welfare spending. You also know that in order to crack down on abuse of public funds you have to throw more money at it by increasing regulation. Government, when they borrow money, have to have some kind of collateral. You know, the full faith and credit of the US government…but not the people. Government doesn’t already have what we don’t give it. North Dakota is up in arms about their property taxes because of the fact that even though you pay off your mortgage, you can still have your property taken, because it is collateral for the government when it wants to borrow money.
YOU are the collateral. You are being enslaved, because YOU are the full faith and credit of the United States. Not Congress, who has never made a law they have not exempted themselves from…but I digress. You just can’t go around making sense like that. Stop it. :em93:

Yes I agree. All of the asshole Presidents and administrations have been spending us into Oblivion for the better part of 2 Centuries. With few exceptions.

My question to you is, If Obamandias is “So Great!!!!!” then why has he INCREASED spending at a geometrical, astronomical rate????? He’s even started a THIRD WAR!!!!

This administration has spent more money than ALL of the others COMBINED!!!! He has taken this country from bankrupt to utterly devastated.

What is your defense of O’useless for that?

Quite frankly I’m not even as optimistic to the assertion that we are being systematically enslaved by an ever more brazen ruling class. Slavery implies at least some humanity. We are beasts of burden to them. When they want more they just whip us until we drop and then take another 35% after we’ve expired. Sort of like the horse in Animal Farm. They got all they could out of him then sold him to the glue factory. We are objects to be manipulated for their benefit and to satisfy their egos and to feather their hypocritical nests.

Keep this in mind Marx was such an egotist that he set out to create a totally new paradigm for living with him as the titular god-head i.e. a new religion(Paul Johnson’s book Intellectuals). His acolytes and apostles can be seen in today’s manifestation of the Social Democrats of Europe, Laborites in England and “Democrats” here. There are obviously more virulent strains in various countries but each has this in common: The individual is incompetent to make his own decisions and the oh so benevolent state will make better choices on his behalf. That self selected elites have the ability to manage such a complex system as the economy or social interaction better than the self regulating systems based on mutual consent of the participants.

    Elephant Man growls and barks:

What is your defense of O’useless for that?

I’ll try and field that question! (Puts on tinfoil beanie with Obama 08 sticker on it)

It all boils down to this:

Republicans/Conservatives spend taxpayer money to enrich the global corporate oligarchy and their own bank accounts while plundering and raping the planet and that’s BAD.

Democrats/Liberals spend taxpayer money to enrich the lives of the impoverished little (insert color of choice here) people while saving Mother Gaia and that’s GOOD

    To simplify further:

Republicans/Conservatives: Small minded, greedy and evil.

    Democrats/Liberals: Enlightened, generous and noble.

It’s all about intentions and results are secondary.

    Republican/Conservative Intentions: BAD

    Democrat/Liberal Intentions: GOOD

    To summarize:

Bush being a Republican and an (alleged) Conservative had BAD intentions therefore he’s responsible for everything bad whether he had anything to do with it or not.

Obama being a Democrat and a Liberal has GOOD intentions therefore he’s not responsible for everything bad whether he had anything to do with it or not.

And that concludes today’s lesson in applied moonbatology. (Removes tinfoil beanie with Obama 08 sticker on it) :em41: :em99:

    Elephant Man growls and barks:

    Response to Cricket @:

    (puts on tinfoil beanie)

The thing is, it doesn’t matter HOW limousine liberals got rich.

What matters is that they feel GUILTY for being rich.

Remember, one of the basic tenets of moonbatology is guilt.

As long as you feel guilt and have good intentions, you will never be held responsible for any bad results of your actions while you will get credit if by some chance good results happen as a result of your actions.

    (Takes off tinfoil beanie)

While this obviously doesn’t apply in the real world, you can see why liberal moonbatism would appeal to who you’d think to be otherwise rational people.
