Never missing an opportunity for a photo-op, Ogabe with blessings and an invite from his newest bathhouse pal NJ Gov. Christie made a royal visit to the Garden State in the wake of storm Sandy. Of course the media covered his visit 180° from a similar visit by W post-Katrina. Obama of course, was hailed as looking presidential in his working man’s jacket and a somber puss. Also the obligatory hug for a conveniently located distraught ‘victim’ was needed to complete the full picture. Remember post 9-11 that W met with many of the families of the fallen in private, no press allowed and I don’t recall even seeing a WH official photo of that visit. W spent, again as I recollect 2 full hours with the families. Teh Won needs no such time to work his healing magic and has been known to say he coulda’ pulled off the “Lazarus Deal” in half the time as that other poser.
CBS’ “This Morning” show this past Thursday aired a segment treating Mussobama very favorably, surprised eh? Obamler was depicted as ready to help, like it was something special, well maybe he’s funding the federal support out of his stash though. What President wouldn’t call in FEMA to assist the affected areas. Well in his case, except for Texas I suppose. It’s a stale story but Breitbart’s Warner Huston brought back something that had blood shooting out of my ears for days back in 2005, that was said by the notorious child molester of CBS, Harry Smith speculating about the role of the church in helping the victims of Katrina with this bit of viciousness concerning church members taking in the displaced families:
“Do I need to be concerned that I’m going to go live with a church family, are they going to proselytize me, are they going to say, ‘You better come to church with me or else, I’m, you know, you’re not going to get your breakfast this morning?’” he posed to Pastor Rick Warren.
Pastor Warren thus demonstrating his sincere faith at that point by not castrating Smith with a dull butter knife and feeding them to the nearest canine and then hobbling him a lá Kathy Bates in Misery.
Once again liberals demonstrating their tolerance for organized religion and reasonable debate about it’s value in America.
No doubt The Lightworker™ picked up a few undecided votes out of the whole affair because we all know this administration just can’t let a good crisis go to waste. We just need to keep reminding ourselves about a decision that needs to be made, who gets the stretch treatment first, the RINOs or the media? Pour encourager les autres yanno?
At least 16 ounce Bloomberg had the good sense not to interrupt his emergency services workers in the recovery efforts, by covering a presidential visit. ….mheh….
-Carry On and I will take proposals for ‘The List’.
