It’s Deja Vu All Over Again, Once Again

The ballots haven’t even been fully counted and Mr. Weeper of the House was already surrendering to the left on the issue of taxes. Carefully choosing his words about the election being a mandate on working together with the left, he stresses the need for bipartisan solutions in avoiding the fiscal cliff. He goes on talking of closing loopholes in the tax code and other types of tax ‘reform’.

YouTube Preview Image

I suspect with every tear John-boy sheds he loses about 10 IQ points because this plays right into the hands of the dems and the dumb-fuck does it every time when a fiscal fight is afoot. It’s all a precursor for a tax hike he fully intends to cave on. Instead of hammering away at cutting spending and not even a mention of what we’ll do with taxes of any kind, he’s sending a signal to the left that he’ll play ball on tax increases. Once again we find this useless, spineless creature pissing his pants because the progressives said “BOO !”. He’ll tell you that if we draw an absolute line in the sand to no new taxes, the democrats in order to win, will let us drive off the “fiscal cliff” and blame it on republican obstructionism. Since you obviously need one Boner-Boy here’s a clue: The left has been blaming republican obstructionism all along for every one of their fiscal policy failures. Obama’s ridiculous ‘budget’ that couldn’t get a single vote in the senate was clear evidence of republican obstructionism. Harry Reid’s dereliction in bringing any budget onto the floor for eons is due to republican obstructionism. The lack of urinal cakes (aka progressive mints) in the 2nd floor men’s room…republican obstructionism.

Just like the “racist” word, the invertebrate RINOs in Congress still fear words. They soil their underoos if there’s a chance that the Slimes will speak ill of them. They can produce a awesome budget plan from some of the best economic minds in Congress, yet the Keynesian Retard Paul Krugman can write another nasty, prevarication of an op-ed and they instantly have seizures and projectile vomiting. This of course always, but ALWAYS has the same ending. The Wimpy’s Hamburger RINO Solution™, the Party of Stoopid will gladly play along with tax increases for today, for payment in real spending cuts next Tuesday. Next Tuesday unfortunately is forgotten because the RINOs can bask in the ‘good’ press over the weekend, gushing how they reached bipartisan support for the latest fiscal problems. Come next week and you can bet the LSM will invent some story to put the GOP back on defense and the promised cuts disappear like blow in Charlie Sheen’s apartment.

Today is a helluva lot different. That cliff is really there and a monster that could turn us into Greece overnight, and we sure as hell can’t bridge over it on any time scale that averts disaster. The real snooker being played here isn’t that the administration gives a monkey-fuck about going over the cliff, since they are 150% positive that blaming the GOP for it occurring will be their foundation for taking back the House in 2014. Looking at it this way, it’s even more likely they’ll go out of their way to let it happen, just for that political advantage. This brazen screwing of the American people in lust of completely centralized power is exactly the type of shenanigans we can expect over the next four years. I suspect they will eventually give up entirely on the maskirovka and just do what they want directly with no Machiavellian games. Remember Ogabe’s comment to his pal Dmitry Medvedev that he would have more flexibility after the election?

[Off Topic-Does anyone else find it odd, that Obama would be so sure of his reelection in March? Just sayin']

So here’s my call for what it’s worth. Boehner will cave and cut a deal next week for what ultimately will be a massive tax hike (news today was kicking around a figure of $1.6 trillion as Ogabe’s goal), just like all the deals that came before it, they’ll break it off in his ass as it being the GOP’s idea. Deja Vu factorial. The promised budget cuts? Sure, we’ll reduce the Department of Agriculture budget for cowshit stink studies by .0001%.

Solution? Along with our plans to shake up the left in ’14 it’s imperative for us to take out all the old bull RINOs and replace them with our young, conservative studs that will be unafraid of anything the socialists throw at them. Fuckabuncha’ bipartisan this or that, it’s the path to perdition for the Conservative movement. It’s not a choice, it’s the only choice short of taking the slack off our triggers.

Anticipatory surrender will always be the default Republican position, I’m afraid. Why? Well, tradition, mostly, but beyond that, the bulk of their elected guys simply don’t believe the stuff they pitch to the voters. Limited government? Why, that would limit their power if/when they regain the reins. Lowered spending? Nah, they can count on their esteemed colleagues across the aisle to block that (plus, we all saw what they did when they had the White House, House, Senate, and Supreme Court.)

Remember what he said during his first term – “When I leave office in ten years….” Hell, he was sure of his election to a third term 3 years ago.

And the difference between the parties is ??? Not a gaddamned thing. Well, one small point. The r’s generally don’t insult our allies.

And yeah, it’s deja vu all over again. Hamas rocket kills three Israelis, wider war looms *I’m just gonna hit the “high points”*

Israel’s Iron Dome interceptor system shot down dozens of some 130 rockets fired from Gaza in the first few hours of daylight on day two of Operation Pillars of Defense, the army said.

But one of those that got through caught its victims before they could reach the blast shelters that are everywhere in the Negev region, prey to sporadic Palestinian rocket attacks from Gaza for the past five years.

Israeli police said the three died when a rocket hit a four-story building in the town of Kiryat Malachi, some 25 km (15 miles) north of Gaza. They were the first Israeli fatalities of the latest conflict to hit the coastal region.

*Well over 200 rockets have been fired into Israel since they whacked Ahmed Al-Jaabari two days ago.*

    “Pillar of Defense coverage”.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu spoke to Obama early Thursday, in which “the President reiterated to Prime Minister Netanyahu the United States’ support for Israel’s right to self defense in light of the barrage of rocket attacks being launched from Gaza against Israeli civilians,” a White House statement said. “The President urged Prime Minister Netanyahu to make every effort to avoid civilian casualties.”

Uh, dumbass, your camel fucking terrorist buddies set up launching sites right next to schools and so on. But then you knew that, and saddled Bibi with something next to impossible.

And just like before, The UN Security Council will meet in emergency session to discuss escalating tensions between Israel and Gaza. “Israel, you must not defend yourself against those peace loving hamas folks. If you’d stop hanging on to the silly notion that you are a nation, and let them kill you, all this would simply end.” As we all know that is the goal of 99% of the ME and the jug eared clusterfuck.

I understand that what I propose may be childish, but I suggest they ALL vote ‘present’, and let the merry band of socialists have their way, with predictable results to follow. They keep crowing about ‘Obama’s mandate’, and the will of the voters, well let them have it, good and hard as Mencken would say.

I have been in politics for a long time, and even sought State office myself. A vast majority of voters ask themselves, “What’s in it for me?”. Where do you think Kennedy came up with that famous line of his? Well, what’s in it for them having voted for socialists is socialism, which never works, and is often painful. Let ‘em learn their lessons, I say.

I have a thought, since almost half of the votes that got counted correctly represent pissed off constituents, wouldn’t Boner be more afraid of being primaried by the TEA party than to worry about the democraps. Maybe a message campaign to the GOP leadership to “HOLD FAST” and fight these F#@$%&s on the beachs, in the streets and in the halls of Congress. (Sorry Winston on mangling that phrase) WE the PEOPLE have to get our representative leadership to screw their courage to the sticking place and to forget aabout the end game over the horizon. The democraps have been OODA looping you guys since 92′. The only course of action is to be unpredictable in your response. Caving in is not the way to win, rope a dope does not work in the real world. The democraps play by jungle rules not Marquis de Queesnbury BS.

Wake them up offer our solution, have Mitt go on a speaking tour and have him lay out and explain the screwups of the current administration. I think he can still pack stadiums with a worth while meassge. William Jennings Bryant did this in the early 1890′s with his Cross of Gold speech. Do the same thing, bring the problems and our solutions to the people. OODA loop the bastards. How does the Blight Bringer answer this? Do they have a sex scandle on Mitt to discredit him, will the lame street media portray him as a sore loser, sure but the press coverage of the event though bad creates a call to hear the message. We get to go directly to the people. Tape 3 minute segments and put them on you tube. Mitt Romney is presedential in his bearings and actions. Use this against the Democraps. How do they respond? Do the democraps send Obama out on a tour to rebut, then we have them acting to our actions. If they Ignore it, we get to the masses mano a mano and connect with the message that government is not the answer that they, the people are.

Caving to the democraps on anything is not the answer. Be forthright in supplying other solutions.

    Above all HOLD FAST.

OT. It seems that Beck is getting his panties in a wad. HERE’S WHY GLENN BECK SAYS TO STOP ALL THOSE SECESSION PETITIONS: ‘ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?’

Glenn Beck responded to the wave of post-election secession petitions (which have now hit all 50 states) during both his radio and television programs Tuesday, relaying a simple message to his audience: taking part isn’t smart.

“Now how do you think that’s going to work out?” Beck asked on his radio show. “I mean, how dumb do you have to be? Really? You’re putting your name on a list that goes directly to the White House, and you’re putting your name on a list and saying, ‘yeah I think we should secede, I think there should be a Civil War.’”

When co-host Stu Burguiere pointed out that the petitions request a “peaceful” secession, adding that it really is just a place to “make a statement,” Beck appeared unconvinced.

“Uh huh…[And] do you think that these people don’t forget who made a statement to them? Are you out of your mind?”

Beck continued to say that many of the signatories are probably thinking something along the lines of, “They voted for this, let ‘em have it!”

But I love looking at the comments, such as this one,

Beck kills me. This is the same guy who touts the founders for signing the Declaration and putting their lives, honor and fortunes on the line. Then proceeds to cower when it comes to signing a petition. Beck is full of contradictions when it comes to actually doing something and taking action. Just buy his books and subscribe to his cable channel and keep believing his lectures on the radio. He’s only in it for the money. You don’t run this movement, Beck. You may try but you’ll continue to ride Rush’ coat tails. Just another political televangelist.

    And,

Sorry, Glenn, but when the people of this nation feel the need to shed the yolk of tyranny, we’re going to do it with or without you.

I love you like a brother, but maybe your time as the “voice of independence” has passed.

If you’re unable to stomach the violence ahead (and you’re a good man, so this is possibly the case), step aside and let the veterans like myself and others on this board take care of the messy work.

I will NEVER comply with someone who actively promotes the destruction of this nation. I have sworn to defend my nation against ALL enemies, foreign and domestic. While we can’t be sure which type of enemy the Obama administration is, that doesn’t change the fact that they are trying to “fundamentally change” our nation.

    I WILL NOT COMPLY!

Second, there will be no compromise because Obongo gets even more money if the whole fucking mess goes over the cliff, even it takes the military with it (what does he care their nothing but fucking Muslim baby killers in his syphilis riddled brain). But why? Because of a little fuck up that Congress put in the bill in 2001. It prohibited the executive branch from setting tax rates unless it was indexed to rate of growth/inflation CBO rate without Congressional approval. If the Bush tax cuts disappear so does the prohibition so Obongo can set rates on all earners with out Congressional approval at any level he deems appropriate.

So true, JB…many simply don’t remember how things have been at times, say mile long gas lines………..
We remember…..or double digit unemployment rates, we already have those in real unemployment numbers…..
I’ve never seen it this bad, not in sixty years….it tends to bring out the good in many people, which I like. Especially in small, broke little towns as this one. I am doing my part too, quietly and discreetly, never directly.
Say in my parish, a poor one at that, to look at those men, and look at their hands….they work, damn long and hard. My hands used to be quite calloused once, not so much now, more like my mind is….I got two turkeys stashed I’m going to give to our town Thanksgiving feed.
    But there are those………..
A great deal, if not the vast majority of the problem stems from those expecting something for nothing, rich or poor, it doesn’t matter now in some regards………
If fewer are contributing than taking, we are going to run into a problem.
I’m getting to the point I despise them all now……the entitlement mentality.
Now won’t it get interesting when it comes down, as it must some day.
Let them fault each other, two men fighting on the deck of a sinking ship…fools.
And what of the rest of us, the silent ants, doing what we do, given our means…..?
A reboot, the curve going straight up soon…it’s starting now….
I don’t believe for one second the world can recover or walk away from this…we will pay, dearly….
A final gift from my wife was the funds to prepare, and Brother, I have…..
Funny, I pick up my new .45 tomorrow…..
You gotta have a gun for a friend, you know, and ammo, not just yourself…..friends don’t let friends……
Yet to look now, grateful for what I have, even more grateful for the wisdom to have learned from my many mistakes, some I still am paying for, even having blown my future on trying to save my wife….I would do it again……..
I am now receiving a survivors benefit from social security, having turned sixty.
As the man said, you two paid in collectively for seventy years…..received nothing….
Yet I would forsake it gladly if it would help save our nation…….in the meantime I buy ant stuff with it.
I simply believe times are going to have to get so bad, so horrendously bad, that folks will be forced to do things…or die.
We will have to help each other…meaning work. Even just a little, given one’s capabilities, knowledge and limitations. I have a great admiration for a man pushing a broom when he can no longer lift it….he’s done his time….
I reserve mine for like minded souls…..say the Rotties……and some close friends.
And the blame game will continue, part and parcel of the communist doctrine…
It’s just such a damn shame people don’t realize or will not except the lies they are being sold as being opportunistic bullshit by the obama types.
You just wait until they have outlived their usefulness…….which is why I collect things, like boomsticks, whenever possible……
Even then, I doubt they would face reality, which leaves one sole option….
    Damn sad state of affairs….

More importantly, they’ll be going up against members of their own community, their friends, neighbors etc., people that they do not want to hurt with actions that they themselves know to be blatantly illegal in the first place.

Your local police department is not “them”, they’re us. They go to the same stores we go to, they live in the same neighborhoods we live in, their kids go to the same schools ours do. They are just the part of our communities, with a big emphasis on “our”, that we’ve contracted to enforce the law and keep the community safe while we fulfill other necessary functions.

People need to keep that in mind, if you ask me, because there is an increasing trend towards looking at your neighborhood cops as “somebody outside of our tribe”, which is as untrue as anything can be.

If oppression is to occur, I can guarantee you that it won’t be enforced by the local PDs, because it would never work. It will be outside agencies, likely federal. And if that were to happen, you’ll find that your local boys and girls in blue will be on the same side as you.

Maybe, but remember what happened in Bosnia. For generations Croatians, Serbs and Bosnians lived together (at least to outsiders) without any hint of hate or intend harm but they nonetheless dragged each other to the shooting pits. These were people that knew each other, was the neighbor next door and went about their daily lives together.

That’s only if you accept the ProgNazi premise that we’re a house divided. Believe me, I’m quite familiar with the dynamics of the Balkans, I’m a European by birth, after all, and their divisions are NOT manufactured, they’ve been baked into the cake for centuries and the only thing that kept them under control for a short period of time was, sadly enough, Tito’s totalitarian regime. That may be the only way to control the Balkans, because all previous attempts have failed miserably.

But we’re NOT the Balkans, we never have been, we don’t have centuries-old grievances that you really have to be a European to understand (and they still make no fucking sense, but that’s how it is), because we haven’t been around for near long enough.

Sure, you will find toadies in your local LE community who want to be part of something “bigger”, but they’re in an enormously insignificant minority and will be taken care of in short order by their own. You simply cannot compare this nation with the cataclysmic mess that is Europe, a mess that has taken millennia to build.

And, in the interest of honesty, I have to admit that I probably said the same thing. I most likely said it here, but I KNOW that I said it to friends and coworkers: “If Mittens is the candidate, then the jugeared freak is going to win.”

But that was based on the Mittens that I knew, which was based entirely upon the Enemedia’s portrayal of him, as I am not from Taxatwoshits and therefore know nothing of him on a personal level. As his campaign went on, after the primaries, I saw another Mittens, and that’s why I changed my mind and had to shame-facedly admit that I’d bought into the Enemedia propaganda.

Unfortunately, the MIttens the caricature that I’d come to accept as a result of my failure to see that everything the Enemedia says is a lie, had become rock solid among too many voters with too little time to change that, even though he did, bless his heart, try. He didn’t try hard enough on issues such as Benghazi which he completely left off the table, and that was part of his downfall. His presidential demeanor was a plus, particularly in contrast to the drug-addled, spiteful petty little brat his opponent was, but he failed to drive in the good punches.

Whenever there was a legitimate opening to go ugly, he held back.

    That is how he failed.

You’re pretty smug for a guy whose god won by only, roughly, four million votes. That’s essentially the size of one large city…like Chicago. And he didn’t even win the majority of the country; he only won a majority of those who voted, which was down considerably from the 2008 election.

Reagan won by a true landslide. Obama barely eked out a victory.

I’m starting to see people saying that Obama only won through voter fraud. While I have no doubt that there was massive fraud, I can’t say it was enough to tip the balance.
There’s no doubt it did tip the balance in a number of down ticket races though. (See Allen West)

I posted an old Canadian broadcast on my site from June 5, 1973, back when we had some REAL problems going on in this country. The Vietnam war was over, we had a low standing in the world, Watergate was heated up in Congressional hearings, and a Canadian broadcaster stepped up and spoke his mind:

Watergate was fucking nothing compared to the 200+ Mexicans that President-Drone-Kill all but personally executed. Watergate was nothing compared to this Benghazi debacle, where we let the equivalent of a 4-star die while he and his staff pleaded for assistance. So take the “Watergate” shit and stuff it up yer ass. Nixon was a piker compared to Jugg-ears.

    :em07:

I voted against Nixon. I am willing to participate in armed insurrection against President DowngrAAAde. That right there should serve as a benchmark to contrast the level of overreach in play.

I am no establishment republican dick-sucker – I learned long ago they are just as bad in their own special ways as the troglodytes infesting the democrat party. But what you libtards seem to forget, is that all the shit you fuck-witts accused Bush II of doing, President Peace Prize actually DID.

I’ll tolerate no quibbling about the moral high ground from the sons-of-bitches that voted for the guy who signed NDAA. NONE. It’s disingenuous AND it’s stupid. You ain’t dealing with the Sheeple that get their news from 3-second ABC soundbites here.

To be perfectly frank, I am all the fuck out of nice. Courtesy gauge is courting “E.” Tolerance was drug out into the street and beaten to death with a fence post too. The only thing I have in abundance anymore is .233 Remington.

Fucking Watergate – fuck that, it’s an insult to all the dead motherfuckers to lump them in with goddamned watergate. Too bad reporters only know how to do their jobs when the Republotards are in office. They are too busy sucking Barry Soetoro’s dick to be bothered with the dead Mexicans Obama and Holder stacked up like sandbags. Or to concern themselves with shocking dictatorial overreaches.

Yeah fuck them, they are active participants in the war.

You only saw ONE other Mittens? Misha, we have over a decade of Mittens being Mittens both in print and in video. Strip away any media bloviations, just listen to Mittens himself talking. That man has been on every side of every thing. The media doesn’t have to portray him as anything at all.

“I stand by what I said, whatever it was.”

Since he spent most of his campaign trying to convince you to vote for him, it is no wonder he came across as a “severely Conservative” guy. He said what you wanted to hear, and not what he was really about. I don’t think that anyone can claim they know what Romney is about, other than simply being for Romney.

I think that the voters of Massachusetts probably know him the best — and even they rejected him. The same goes for just about every other state where he has made his home — except one.

I’m sorry, Misha, but Romney wasn’t a serious contender for the job — which also points out the vulnerability of Obama in the sense that only three million plus votes separated the two. Especially given high unemployment, luke-warm recovery, etc, you would have rightly figured that a ham sandwich could have stood a chance in winning in that scenario.

But Mittens is not as good as a ham sandwich, and he was his own worst enemy. That and the up-front hatchet job that all of the primary candidates did on him pretty much guaranteed his failure in the general. That is why I keep saying that the RNC really had no intention of seriously winning in this last election.

Look at the jockeying going on right now, a week after the election. Do you see the people starting to make their move for 2016? The votes aren’t even officially certified in most states and the 2016 candidates are starting to stir and make some noise. This is the election the Right is focusing on — and have been focusing on. You wouldn’t have wanted Romney in the way either, with some of the candidates more to your liking starting to come up.

    LC Grammar Czar, G.L.O.R. says:

Not nearly as smug as you were when Bush lost by 500,000 popular votes in 2000 and won by less less of a margin in 2004 than Obama won this last time around. I remember back then that you trumpeted the fact that it is the Electoral vote that matters. Well, guess what — Obama wiped up the floor with the Electoral votes. Additionally, for the first time since 1988, one candidate got over 50 percent of the vote. Twice. I am not saying this to be “smug” about it, I am just stating a fact.

    LC Grammar Czar, G.L.O.R. says:

Reagan won by a true landslide.

Reagan wasn’t running this time around, and I would also say that if Reagan were to have magically reincarnated and ran with Reagan’s qualities but under a different name, he would never have gotten the RNC nomination. He might have gotten the DNC nomination though.

You are starting to sound like a Liberal in 2004, when Bush “stole” the election in Ohio through “voter fraud”. There was story after story about faulty voting machines, hacked voting machines, faulty tabulators, thrown out paper trails, vote suppression — the whole nine yards. Which ever side loses they ALWAYS go to the “voter fraud” or “election fraud” place.

Do I think it is possible for voting machines to be hacked, flipped, or manipulated — you betcha. Sure it’s possible, that is why I have LONG advocated to going back to pencil and paper and shorter ballots for national elections. But do I think there is a widespread problem of VOTER fraud? Nope.

    angrywebmaster says:

And in other news, Hostess is dead and the Twinkie is no more.

Not quite true, actually. Sure, Hostess is through — they were going to be through anyways. This is their second bankruptcy in eight years — they were obviously in trouble and it is due to their management than it was about their labor. The fact that the bakers were not going to take yet another cut in pay or benefits to keep a sinking ship afloat in order for it to simply sell of its brands doesn’t put this in the fault of anyone BUT Hostess.

Hostess will sell off their brands — they were going to end up doing that anyways. They just wanted to be able to sell off the brands with a built-in work force in order to get more money in the process.

Twinkie and HO-HO will not go away. Some other baking company will buy the brand and continue on. Same with Wonder Bread and Oven Pride. But the parent company is going away. I can see ONE bankruptcy and coming out good, but you REALLY have to suck to go through two in eight years.

The 30 workers are part of OUR Wal-Mart group and have gone on strike because of low pay, too few hours and retaliation by managers against workers who speak out. Last month OUR Walmart group helped organize strikes at 12 stores.

A whole thirty people. Wow, THAT will drive the nation’s largest retailer down to their knees. :em05:

Which reminds me, I need to get over to Walmart this afternoon and pick up another TV. I have guests coming over this weekend and it would be nice for them to have one in their room.
