D-minus 10 hrs

Well, now it’s our fucking turn to make our choice for our future known. Wednesday we will either be breathing a sigh of relief that America hasn’t completely gone batshit shit crazy or we’ll be scrambling to the gun store to grab every last round .00, .45, .22, 5.56 and 7.62.

I really don’t know what is going to happen and for the first time on my life I’m scared shitless that, even after what happened in the last four years, this Marxist bastard will somehow pull it off. My UI ran out a year ago and if it wasn’t for my family I’d be sitting up in the Shenandoah eating squirrel.  I don’t believe the polls because the Limp Dick Media is so far in the tank for Obongo that they are out and out lying to pull cocksucker across the line. Having said that there are many, many idiots out there who believe the lying fuckers and may well go “ah fuck it, he going to win anyway.”  These people are only one or two steps above a house plant and could be enough to pull it out in PA, OH or FL.

But there are little things that I see do make me have hope. Obongo ain’t pulling the rally numbers like he used too. Even Springsteen can’t pull them in (then again he hasn’t done shit since “Born in the USA”). Romney has been competitive and going to states that should have been sewn up months ago by Obongo.  I don’t see as many signs as I did four years ago. Back then you couldn’t drive half a block without seeing the fuck’in things.   Again, small but hopeful signs.

So I’ll go vote around 1000 then pick up some Milwaukee’s Beast and watch the returns until I throw up.

What is everybody else going to do?  Besides praying and cleaning weapons…

Oh, and I’ll be keeping an eye on it from work, and hoping that America turns away from the Democrats en masse. A 1980 repeat would be real nice.

Keep faith in America, we are not yet in the last inning nor down to the last cartridge and G0d willing this will be the beginning of a new era in self sufficiency and moral behavior. If the corruptocrats win through fraud it will be the start of a civil or uncivil time for the makers and the takers will not survive.

    beautiful…..

I mailed in my ballot last week.

Don’t forget, there’s more than one battle here….state, local, and Congressional. We need to make sure those are put in responsible hands as well.

Cast my Early Ballot here in the Olde Dominion last Wednesday – pretty much as soon as Fairfax County Gov’t centers got power back. Going to work tomorrow because I have no money for guns or rounds. But that must soon change.

    Courage, folks.

We don’t get to vote early in Ala-damn-bama but I will be up early tomorrow. I’ve, also, already stocked up on necessary ballistic supplies.

I dropped my ballot off this morning – forced to farce.

We’re at the Alamo all right. We’re where Travis was on the early morning of March 6, 1846. His desperate last plea unheard, outnumbered, surrounded, and with no hope.

And like Travis and his Texans, those few of us who remain loyal to the US Constitution will go down fighting. We know it. They know it, that’s all there is to it. They’ve got the cannon fodder to absorb the casualties. We don’t. Every loss we suffer is precious and irreplaceable.

Defeatism? No. Realism. But that don’t mean I’m not going to take as many of them as I can with me, metaphorically speaking, or in reality. Their choice. Fix bayonets!

Almadinnerjacket is trying one last desperate move.

Not buying a word of that shit. I wouldn’t change my vote to the Blight Bringer based on the “promises” or “offers” of anybody in Iran’s government. Yes, Iran used to be strongly pro-West. Then Jimmy Carter came in and totally fucked things up. (A fact overlooked in the article.)

LC LIGHT291D – I feel EXACTLY the same as you. I’m going to go out of my mind all day tomorrow until this Romney wins. I’m already wondering – should I use all that nervous energy to swim? But almost everyone at the Y is for Obama. I could watch the 3rd in “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” and/or clean my kitchen, iron or do laundry. But one thing I am NOT doing is listening to a bunch of talking heads analyzing the crap out of everything.

Is anyone going to be here tomorrow night or Wed. a.m.? I remember how a bunch of us met here the day after the last election, stupefied at the stupidity of electing a nothing man. I felt the Doom rolling in. And so it was.

Unfortunately there’s also the possibility that the results will be incomplete/confused for a while–prolonging this ordeal of ignorance.

Yesterday was my birthday. And nobody remembered to bring me even a single present. :em08:
So I hope y’all are waiting to bring me a very nice surprise today. In a few minutes I’m going to go and register my gift want list at my polling place. :em01: Even though the R candidates are not perfect and will not fix all the important problems, even Reagan did not do that. I will be happy if the R Boys make a good start and fix some of the problems. At the head of my list would be restoration of a semblance of constitutional governance; return to completely constitutional government can then be within reach. And get us a President who aspires to be a chief executive and not a hero on a prancing white horse semi-white jackass. You know, someone who can actually pass for American. :em03:

Remember, the Alamo is not a place, it is a state of mind … but it is also the beginning of the road that leads to San Jacinto.
Even if we have a clean sweep before bedtime, the next day we will still have heroic labors ahead of us to cleanse the shire. We must not abandon the Alamo Mind. Ever.

Considering that the Alamo was essentially a slaughter of epic proportions (and not in OUR favor, I might add), I’m not sure that’s a good metaphor for this election…

But the sacrifice made by those people was an inspiration to the nation, and resulted in a lot of warfare to our favor. Remember when it became a battle cry that resounded across the battle field?

well, since we’re in an Alamo frame of mind.

Have any of you read this book?

The Blood of Heroes by James Donovan

it’s the best book I’ve read on the siege of the Alamo….really well done
