I am at a total loss. I guess that’s what comes from not giving a shit about the latest fad.
OT. But as you all know, not long ago I lost my Mother, Not long before she passed, one of my favorite cousins also passed, Randy was a special needs person, and just last week his Mom passed. And several others in my family have also passed on in this time. I ask not for prayers, thoughts for me, but for the rest of my family. In my life we have never been hit so hard by the dark one.
And as most of you know I suffer from a chronic pain condition, Fibromyalgia. The past couple of weeks have been really hard on me. Even Roguetek thinks I need to get to a hospital, yet I already know what they will say. Today has been one of the worse days I’ve had in a LONG time. I don’t care what or who you believe in, I humbly ask for a small prayer, good thoughts…. So that I can get through this. You, my family, know, I owe each and everyone of you here, more than I can ever hope to repay. Yes, even YOU DJ. And “Duke Wayne”, Muzzy, you twisted fucks are still a part of my family. Like it or not suckers.
Because ya’ll know that if you needed help, and I could do it, I would, happily, with a glad heart. I love you guys more than I can express.

Or it could be that they departed in time to avoid what’s coming–pessimistic, I admit. Reminds me of how my mom lost four siblings within a few months a year or two ago–three in September alone.

Yes, the uniform. The Navy officers and chiefs have lovely uniforms, but for the love of all that is holy, we need to get rid of the enlisted dress whites, which at least when my husband was active duty, looked a lot like a child’s pajamas. Dress blues were spiffy, but the whites? No.
For the Navy/MC Birthday ball we went to in Norfolk, my husband wore his kilt with a charlie and his miniature medals. We had a Marine Lt Col come and tell us that he wished he could have worn his kilt, but sitting at the high table, he had to be in standard dress uniform, though I seriously think the Marines have the best of the U.S. dress uniforms.

Done LOBO, I’m in a bit of a dark place myself as you know but the one thing that I don’t hesitate to do is get help if I need it. Do the same, go to the hospital….go anywhere you need to get help recovering (you know what I mean).

Thanks Jay. The fucking Fibro isn’t tied to the other. In fact, they have no clue as to how one gets it. It could be from genetics, a prior injury, a prior illness, or whatever.

Hi, LC LOBO! That’s rough as a cob. My heart goes out to you. I have an idea what it’s like: I was socked with the death of my sister (cancer), a much loved pet (cancer), and my mother (cancer + Alzheimer’s), all within six months’ time.
A friend said to me, “Your mom and sister are just on an extended vacation in Paradise, and you’ll get there yourself in good time.” That comforted me more than anything. In the meantime, it hurts like crazy.

Thanks Talluah. But, going to a doctor and getting them to actually put it into writing, requires something I don’t have. Money.
In the morning I get to go to these “101″ classes that are part of being on food stamps here. So far on the Work in Texas site I’ve seen one job that is a “fit” for my skills. Cooking at the SA Airport Hilton.
