 Sitting alone with your thoughts can be lead to, as my Grandmother would say, “Idle hand are the Devils playground.”  Well Einstein used to do his best thinking when he was alone and he didn’t do the Devils work.  Ok, just don’t ask Japanese about it. 

I believe that a couple of things are going to happen over the next 1-15 years (if we somehow don’t finally descend into Hell by reelecting Obongo).  I was listening to Varney and Company this morning and Kalifornia Governor Jerry Moonbeam is going to sign a bill that will require a business to provide retirement plans (read: pay for it) to all employees regardless of their job, skill level or any other deviations that is regulated by the state government.  A twofer, you pay it and the government fucks you by regulating it.  Somehow I don’t think a restaurant dishwasher goes into a job primarily concerned about the 401k plan his employer is offering.  This is going to lead to two things happening.  First, the steady stream of employers that can move that is now happening is going to turn into a tsunami.  They are going to vote with their feet and run like dogs with scalded balls from the Socialist hellholes that are Kalifornia, Illinois and Vermont (my other prediction, Caterpillar will move from Illinois).  Gun and ammunition manufactures are already getting ready to pull up stakes and head to states that welcome employers with tax incentives, lower rates, low or no state taxes, Right to Work and a generally friendly attitude to business.  Think Idaho, Montana, the Dakotas’ and Texas.  In addition to that, they now have the money to make it happen.  Since Obongo was elected money that would have been used to hire employees, investment, R&D and expansion has been squirreled away.  Instead of continuing throwing money down the shitter they’re going to just say “fuck it” and move.  They won’t have to worry about finding employees either.  North Dakota is a prime example of you create the jobs and they will come, and hell or high water ain’t going to stop them. 

This will lead to the second part of this.  Service based industries, the first level employers, are going to shrivel and die on the vine.  They need people to come in their restaurants, hotels and home improvement stores to make a profit.  With second and third tier jobs fleeing there will be nobody left to patronize them and then the real decline will begin.  With the tax base gone and only the parasites are left what will happen?  Think Camden NJ.  

The other thing that is going to start happening is succession.  I don’t mean states succeeding and forming a new country but portions of states (think the Cali Central Valley) saying “fuck you” Sacramento and running off to join Arizona.  It’s never happened but what if it did?  If you have roots and can’t move but hate your state government fucking you six days a week and twice on Sunday what would take to let your little portion of paradise which sides, so to speak?  What would be done to prevent it from happening?  Is Governor Moonbeam going to deploy the 40th Infantry Division ala Harpers Ferry to stop you and hang you for sedition?  Kalifornia state government hasn’t changed in four decades and elections have proven futile to changing the way business is done so why not take your allegiance (and your family farm business) and swear allegiance to Governor Jan Brewer.  You’d have a helle’va case in your favor.

Oh yeah…fuck you Roger Goodell.

    You could also make the argument that WV succeeded from the Confederacy (an independent country at the time) and was admitted into the Union as a state where the legality and constitutionality of this action is still debated: Virginia v. West Virginia, 78 U.S. 39 (1871)

    as for deploying the Exploding Asshole division, i doubt that Jerry would be able to do that, since moving all the heavy equipment from MATES at Club Bob would release huge amounts of CO2 and diesel soot, there by offending Mother Gaia and violating CEQA.

    Do not be misled by the notion we can’t make a living. I live in the Central Valley. We are farmers, engineers, mechanics, technicians, agricultural experts, and those of all related services industries inherent to any society.
    We despise Sac……….the coast libs have stolen our water, told us what we can grow and how much. Aside from being politicians they can do nothing. They are useless. They contribute nothing, they only take. And should TSHTF THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY! We are an independent, proud, God fearing people in the main. We look after our own, protect our own, being an area where the minority do not own a gun. I have watched the Valley transformed from what used to be one of the most productive, fertile areas of the planet into a shadow of its former glory. And I hate them for it. I do ponder, since we control the water………most of it coming from Hetch Hetchy and other mountain reservoirs……They are destroying my home, this Valley in my blood……..and I wait, Nor am I alone. So let the libs belittle us…time is on our side.

    That clause concerns the formation of new states. My argument is what if a part of one state wants to quit one state and incorporate into another. For instance what would prevent North and South Dakota merging back into one entity like it was before when it was the Dakota Territory? This scenario (I’ve looked but can’t find anything) has never occurred. Remember most of the state boundaries were formed because of slavery and all states at the time were divide along the 36°30? north line. North of the line states were admitted as free states. South of the line were considered slave states so you have an artificial line dictating shape of the states and not on a political, geographical or economic line.

    The economic and social fabric of the Central Valley is being destroyed by a government that is unwilling to hear the petitions of their grievances (gee, that SOUNDS familiar) so why wouldn’t they have the right to switch their political allegiance to a neighboring state that shares their social, economic and political affiliations? The old saw is that “well they can just move” but you have generations that have lived and farmed the land, can’t move because they can’t and/or don’t want to but now they are governed by a dictatorial government that denies their right of “that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

    That would require the concurrence of both state legislatures as well as the Congress, as Article 4, Section 3 says.
    No part of a state can be taken (absorbed, incorporated, or whatever term you choose to call it) by another state without the permission of the originating state and Congress. Partitioning a state and merging that partition with another state creates a new state.

    James Madison, Federalist, no. 43, 290–91

    The particular precaution against the erection of new States, by the partition of a State without its consent, quiets the jealousy of the larger States; as that of the smaller is quieted by a like precaution against a junction of States without their consent.

    If North and South Dakota merged to form one state (Dakota) then North Dakota and South Dakota would no longer exist and a new state, Dakota, would come into existence, ie, a new state would be formed. Nothing would prevent this as long as the requirements of Article 4, Section 3 are complied with. Likewise, partitioning the Central Valley of California and incorporating it into Arizona would require the permission of both legislatures and Congress. Even if the name of the state remains the same it’s still a new state.

    Sadly, in many Blue States the same phenomenon is happening. The urban cores are sucking the life out of everything around them and deliberately grinding the conservative and productive portions of the state to dust to support their effete lifestyle. It cannot go on forever, but they are going to squeeze and squeeze until there’s nothing left, or that dog bites their hands off!

    The people living there seem to think so. It is only marginally drier now that when people originalyl settled there, in most areas.

    Something tells me whether or not congress agrees, no one will really give a fuck. It seems no one else in the federal government gives any credence to the constitution. Besides, Il Douche would issue an executive order or maybe name a new czar. But my major thesis is that if it gets to that point no one will really give much of a fuck one way or another and if Barry the Brave can’t get the American military (doubtful) to go in and exert military force against the heretics, then he’ll probably go for Blue Helmets.

    I’m about halfway convinced that the current US structure of fifty states is on its way out. A significant fraction of people in the productive states are sick and tired of paying for the rest of them. Four more years of Il Douche should only accelerate the inevitable.
