    Right? :em05:

“Anti-US protests and demonstrations occurred in 12 countries and Gaza City on 12 and 13 September. The US Embassy in Sanaa, Yemen, was overrun but security forces eventually restored order. More and larger protests are expected in nearly every Muslim country on 14 September. Some might turn violent.”

Chalk up one success for President Barrack Hussein Ahmsari: he has managed to unite the Muslims.

Today, President Obama released the long-awaited “sequestration report,” detailing the cuts the White House would make to the budget under last year’s Budget Control Act if no deal is reached in Congress.

And there, buried on page 136, is the White House’s proposed cuts to “Embassy Security, Construction, and Maintenance.” $129 million. That’s a full 8.2 percent of the possible sequestrable amount. It’s a massive slash of the budget for our embassies, consulates, and security abroad.

That’s just part of the White House’s ridiculously destructive sequester proposal, which takes a chainsaw to the defense budget. Most defense programs would get a 9.4 percent cut, and a 10 percent cut to other Pentagon accounts. Medicare, by contrast, would take only a 2 percent hit. “No amount of planning can mitigate the effect of these cuts,” wrote the Office of Management and Budget. “It is not the responsible way for our nation to achieve deficit reduction. The report leaves no question that the sequestration would be deeply destructive to national security, domestic investments and core government function.”

President Obama brought about this sequestration himself when he refused to cut the budget, and his Democratic allies in Congress did the same. Republicans didn’t want to tie cuts to tax increases; Obama did. Democrats’ default position was that cuts had to come from defense. And thus we ended up with the Budget Control Act, which left Congress in the position of watching President Obama slash the military budget if they couldn’t reach some sort of arrangement.

In the aftermath of worldwide attacks and assaults on our embassies and consulates, it certainly looks incredible for the President to insist on deep slashes to our embassy security budget, let alone our overall defense budget. But that’s what this administration is all about: cutting defense, and leaving America and her emissaries more vulnerable.

That would be sinking to their level. We must retain the moral high ground and show that Americans are good and nice. Besides, doesn’t Christianity teach you us to forgive those who trespass against you us? Plus, we we have to make up for the evils of colonialism and the Crusades. And social justice. There must be social justice for our explotation of…well, something of theirs.

This was a concerted attack to (once again) test the resolve of the West. We (so far) have responded like a whipped dog cowering in front of it’s master. And it’s not just the US, but all the west. There is no outrage, and that is exactly what they (Islam) wanted to see. The attacks will continue until they are driven back into their medieval hovels.

No emabassies in the US or Europe were attacked, nary a protest. Nobody from the offending countries were expelled. Business as usual…Why? Every Egyptian, Libyan, Tunisian, Algerian, Yemeni, Sudani, Somali, ad nausium, who is here on any kind of visa should be sent packing along with their diplomatic missions.

Nobody in this country wants to admit that these people fully intend to destroy us. People refuse to believe the true history of Islam.

    When is, enough enough?

Since I haven’t seen mittens jump up and shout, I don’t have much hope that he gets it either.

    Blame the movie.

    Blame the movie.

    Blame the movie.

Even though “the movie” was on YouTube for months (since July) prior to the collective indignation of thousands of Middle Eastern Islamists all coming together on the eleventh anniversary of September 11th (through wild coincidence, no doubt), we are being told by our government and our media overlords that we must blame the movie.

You see, if we blame the movie for the burning of our foreign outposts and the brutal murders of four Americans (including our Libyan ambassador who was reportedly raped), we won’t blame the burners and the looters and the murderers and the rapists.

You see, if we blame the movie for the Middle East burning, we won’t blames the Islamists who are doing the burning and looting and raping and murdering.

Which means we won’t further connect the dots and blame Obama’s failed Middle East policy; the Obama Doctrine of backing away from the region and allowing events to unfold as America stands idly by — as the Islamists in the Muslim Brotherhood grab hold of power in Egypt, a country that was once our largest and closest ally.

    Blame the filmmaker.

    Hunt him.

    Out him.

    Demonize him.

    Burn the straw man!

And all at the direction of a president of the United States who has sworn to uphold the Constitution, you know, the same Constitution that treasures the right of free expression and speech above all else.

But no one asks … What about Bill Maher?

    Bill Maher?

Bill Maher made a comedy/documentary called “Religulous” that’s most famous for mercilessly mocking Christianity. But what people forget is that the last twenty-minutes or so of the film make a damning case against Islam.

Bill Maher made a film that mocked Islam.

    Oh, yes, he did.

Bill Maher also contributed $1 million to a pro-Obama super PAC.

And I’m sure that upon being reminded of this, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will tremble with self-righteous indignation and demand Maher take his money back.

After all, if movies create the terrorists who in turn create the terrorism, what about Bill Maher?

And what if the terrorists learn that the president of the United States is benefitting from a million dollar contribution given by a filmmaker who mocked Islam? How will Hillary Clinton claim with any credibility that the United States government has no connection to this outrage? How will White House spokesman Jay Carney say this with any credibility:

“The reason why there is unrest is because of the film,” he said at one point. “This is in response to the film.” At another moment, he said, “The cause of the unrest was a video.” At yet another, “These protests were in reaction to a video that had spread to the region.”

And the lapdog media just can’t stop humping a leg of lies.

    It’s weird, though, isn’t it?

I mean, how Hollywood has been silent in its defense of the filmmaker Obama is currently scapegoating (and in some cases, Hollywood is grabbing a torch), even as they embrace Bill Maher.

Well, I guess some anti-Islamic filmmakers are more equal than others.

And thank heavens, we have Barack Obama to tell us who the more equal ones are.

If I was really evil, I’d try to figure out a way to ship a copy of Maher’s film to some psycho Imam, (preferably a version with just the anti-Islam bit), just to see how Carney would try to spin it.

I mean, if they want to get all angry over a movie, why not give them one that people have actually seen?

    LC Gladiator growls and barks:

ABC journalist Christiane Amanpour, (a journalist? Really?) appeared on Good Morning America with George Stephanopoulos to discuss the film that supposedly ignited the furor in the Middle East and spew her usual venom about the intolerance of the West and benevolent Muslims. Speaking of the filmmaker, Amanpour blasted:

… clearly the film showed him (Mohammed) as a womanizer, a pedophile, a thug, and generally denigrated Islam. Now, there is, obviously, freedom of expression in this country. There is also 100-year law by the United States Supreme Court which says you can’t cry fire in a crowded theater. So, now, one has to, really, try to figure out the extremists in this country and the extremists out there who are using this and whipping up hatred.

So the filmmaker is an “extremist.” Yet listen to her view of the Muslims who slaughter Americans:

I’ve spoken to the prime ministers of Egypt and the new leader of Libya. They say that they want good relations with the United States. But what’s happening here is deliberate provocation at a transitional time. So, while this film came out, and was kind of hidden in the internet, blogosphere for a while, until it got an Arabic subtitle, an Arabic soundtrack. Then it started to became prominent. And local imams started to whip up the fervor against it.

STEPHANOPOULOS: And the current regimes don’t have the same kind of control.

AMANPOUR: Well, they do and they don’t. In Egypt, there’s a military, there’s a police out there. It’s still standing and they do have control. In Libya, it’s slightly more, sort of, chaotic, still, in terms of bringing militants in and trying to arrange the full security process there. But this is something that really has to be watched as we go forward because there is a transition. And by and large, it’s pro-American in that region.

Really? Pro-American? What world does she live in?

Here’s what world: When she was at CNN, she created a series called God’s Warriors. When she covered a very conservative Christian ministry, she stated that the ministry had rules forbidding the wearing of short skirts and prohibitions regarding dating, Amanpour purred that this made her think of “totalitarian regimes.” The pastor demurred, acknowledging that short skirts distracted men, and then came the kicker: Amanpour responded, “But, Ron, that’s what the Taliban said. They kept women in their house, because men couldn’t be trusted around them.”

That’s Amanpour to the core, equating a peaceful Christian ministry with a murderous group of terrorists who slaughtered 3000 Americans.
