Failing “Forward”
The last 48 hours have seen the current administration reap a bumper crop of clusterfuckery. I have been at a loss for a way to summarize it, until I stumbled across this image on the vast interwebs:
That about sums it up nicely, don’t you think? Time for Barrack Hussein Ahmsari to go. Now. Right now.

Reagan had some less-than-strong moments, too, though. USS Stark, Beirut Marine barracks, an awful lot of hijackings, bombings, and airport shootings etc. I’d much rather have Reagan than the Obamessiah, but pretty much every US President who’s faced Islamic/Arabic violence has been passive as much as they’ve been forceful, and many of the forceful responses have been pretty limited. The Elites just don’t take it that seriously – for whatever reason.
I was offshore when the Marines got truck-bombed in Lebanon. Yeah, we weren’t ready for that one. I will say that there was a LOT more shelling from Navy ships than is commonly known. The New Jersey shot itself practically dry, reloaded and did it again. My cruiser did the same. There were a series of ‘bombproof’ bunkers built by Syria where they were directing and supplying their faction, and when the NJ was finished, those bunkers were craters. We didn’t publicize that we killed a bunch of Syrians, that’s all.
According to senior diplomatic sources, the US State Department had credible information 48 hours before mobs charged the consulate in Benghazi, and the embassy in Cairo, that American missions may be targeted, but no warnings were given for diplomats to go on high alert and “lockdown”, under which movement is severely restricted.
Time for Obama to throw Hillary under the bus. You dont think hes man enough to take the blame himself,do you??
Well, he does have the perfect excuse, LC Gladiator. He’s just too darn much of a sophisticate to attend those mundane Presidential Daily Briefings where they discuss that kind of stuff. At least that’s what were told by those who wear those White House-issued embroidered kneepads.
They’ve started attacking the British and German embassies. Currently the German embassy is in flames.
Looks like kissing their asses didn’t work there for ya bam-bam.
The UN is now involved. Take heart,, help is on the way,, Bunky Moon to the rescue.
They’ve taken the bold, pro-active step of repeating their appeals for peace..
(Where’s that dang Dramamine,,)

OHHHH, they better watch out for that strongly worded letter.
The campus of UT Austin is being evacuated due to bomb threat. And also on 9/11 a radioactive probe used in fracking came up “missing” in west Texas.
And now that I can’t find it. A LEO in Cali was talking about active terrorist cells there.
I guess it’s not common knowledge there is a Hamas “retreat” in SoCal and another one in upstate NY. Probably more. One wonders why the fuck we haven’t cleaned them out and salted the earth. Then I realize who’s in charge.
Never mind.

Not to be a “tin foil hat” type here, but, it looks as if World War 3 has been kicked off for real. And that folks, has me worried with all of the ROPer’s we have in America.
If she wasn’t rusting into her mooring place, I’d volunteer the Battleship Texas to go teach them some old-school diplomacy! (Maybe we need an eccentric Texas billionaire to fund a restoration and secret weapons upgrade to her, a la Daniel da Cruz’s Ayes of Texas!)

Kinda like Ross Perot did back back in the day regarding his employees….

So what if the briefs for that week didn’t include any information on any potential trouble in the area?
Just asking the question.

Actually, Nicki, more than anything else, my comment was intended as a riff on those who defend his absences by characterizing him as “among the most sophisticated consumers of intelligence on the planet” and someone doesn’t require personal briefings.
Well, that and the chance to link to that remark about the media and their “embroidered kneepads”.
Mike M says:
LOL – OK, I like the embroidered knee pads.
Not sure about his “sophistication,” but he has initiated some more profound intelligence consumption than his predecessors have. He does read the briefs, believe it or not, and many times asks for follow up products. Now, personally, I think it adds a lot to have a briefer there in person that has been pre-briefed by the IC and knows the issue and background. But that’s his discretion as POTUS.
There is a lot to criticize in this guy, and I’m making a massive understatement here. But the reporting I’m seeing from the media about him not attending PDB briefs and the subsequent implication that he’s somehow guilty BECAUSE of this is just plain wrong.

Not to worry *too* much, it’s not fissile material, but CAN cause a helluva mess if detonated with some sticks of dynamite. Exposure can be limited but the cleanup time and cost would be astronomical…

I’d like to think that da Cruz used Perot as an inspiration for his protagonist, tho it came out in ’82, so I can’t say for sure. (That was before I was really aware of politics and such.)
I’d rather not have to worry about (or deal with the aftermath from) a dirty bomb, or especially the further erosion of our liberties if one goes off.

When the UN launches Operation Barbarossa (a series of very strongly worded demarches), the world will hold its breath!
In regards to his attendance at his briefings, you can’t Q&A a document, nor do I think its unreasonable to expect any POTUS to be particularily attentive to security briefings as we approach this time of year. This is insane, it is obvious that our posture was less than adequate, its obvious our ROE on the matter of embassy security is less than adequate, and I really think the ball was dropped big time as it relates to the region and this significant date. I would possibly be willing to extend the benefit of the doubt if his abscence could be justified by some measure of productivity other than his re-election. The question becomes what was he doing in lieu of the breifings in approach to date? Was he working on the economy? Jobs? What??? This is a meat & potatoes part of his job.
Here’s what we used to do….folks…..
Famous Last Words, Hiroshima when we BITCH SLAPPED Japan!

if by consume they mean “to destroy, use up or expend” i would say it’s a good discription of Mr. Obama.

The UN fuckups do it again.A ll this over a YouTube trailer. We had riots here as well, and as has been observed..all they have done is prove what has been said about Muslims from day one.
Our country is not well. The Census Department says median income continued to fall in 2011. A separate analysis found that incomes are down almost 5 percent since the Obama “recovery” began—illustrating that, despite what Bill Clinton might say, the Obama recovery is not a recovery at all. The drop in the unemployment rate from the recession high of 10 percent to the current 8.1 percent can be ascribed entirely to the decline in labor participation. Studies find that a majority of the jobs the economy has created are low paying. Economic growth is lagging. It’s likely to be below 2 percent for the second year in a row. Current and projected federal spending is unsustainable. Americans continue to think we are headed in the wrong direction.
Obama met with bipartisan congressional leadership early in 2009. Bob Woodward reports in The Price of Politics that Eric Cantor (R., Va.) handed him a list of Republican economic proposals. Not one of those proposals was included in the stimulus bill. At the health care summit in 2010, congressional Republicans suggested a variety of ways to improve the American health care system: for example competition through a national insurance marketplace, malpractice reform, and ending the tax penalty against individuals who buy insurance. Not one of those ideas was included in the health care bill.
For two years, the House Republicans have passed a budget that at the very least is an opening bid in a good-faith negotiation over spending and taxes. For two years, that budget has died in the Senate. The president says the House proposal is “antithetical to our entire history.” Then he castigates the Republicans for their “tendency to shoot first and aim later” and calls for civil debate.
This is the broken and anxiety-ridden world Barack Obama has made. Our adversaries are stronger. America and her allies are weaker. And yet, after spending practically a decade blaming every last thing, including the bad weather, on President Bush, the media seem determinedly uninterested in ascribing even the slightest amount of responsibility to President Obama.
Who’s ready for four more years?
