    This is a time when all Christians, regardless of sect, and all Jews must stand together. And yes, that includes Mormons … except for Dingy Harry. Agnostics and Atheists who wish to stand with us too are welcome. Also Buddhists, Hindus, and Bahai. Mooselims not so much.

    America Attacked Abroad

    Since Tuesday’s 9/11 anniversary, American diplomatic offices in the Middle East have been under siege from Islamists angered by a YouTube clip allegedly criticizing Mohammed. In Benghazi, protesters raped and murdered America’s ambassador to Libya, then killed three of his employees, then burned down the consulate entirely. In Cairo, Egyptian protesters destroyed the American flag and raised Al Qaeda’s flag over the city’s U.S. embassy. These attacks have spread to countries such as Tunisia, Morocco, and Yemen, where protesters are destroying American flags and buildings in the name of Islam.

    Concerning the video, Caveman, Crunchie, if the Catholic Church wants to be taken seriously by anyone, Catholic or not, it needs to start excommunicating politicians who are nominally Cathlic, yet vote for taxpayer funding of abortion. Also Catholics, especially priests who are actively homosexual, who are actively pedophiles, or those who protect and/or apologise for homosexuals and pedophiles in the Church. Candidates for immediate excommunication are Nancy Pelosi, the whole Kennedy clan, Claire McCaskill, Lisa Murkowski, Robert Casey, Jr., Mary Landreau, Susan Collins, and so on.
    Any group which says they stand for certain things, ethics, morals, etc., and does not expel from that group, those who claim to be of that group but repeatedly violate the precepts of that group cannot, and does not deserve to be, taken seriously. A Church, especially should enforce its doctrines, and expel those who do not espouse those doctrines. This is true not just of the Catholic Church, but any of the Protestant sects also.
