Condolences

Both Sir Christopher and Delftsman have lost their mothers this week, Chris just today and Delftsman earlier this week. Please keep them and their families in your prayers.

Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon them.

May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Amen.

    I pray for them, Crunchie….I hurt for and with them……yet in my minds eye to envision the Lord welcoming them both Home, free of pain, fear and uncertainty, Delfts and Chris are both good guys……..I can only say I’m sorry, Guys. I prayed for both your moms yesterday at Mass….they will be in my thoughts this evening, as will both of you.

    Sir Christopher and Delftsman, I offer you my sincerest condolences
    But if you could ask them, I’m sure they would tell you to celebrate the fact that they lived at all, and for so long, and finally escaped the bounds just as things begin turning really sour here below. They are now dancing with the Angels. Pray to them to intercede for you.

    While our sorrow cannot begin to compare to yours, it’s still personal. Because you’re part of our wonderful, at times dysfunctional Rottie “family.”

    Sir Christoher, Delftsman, your mothers no longer need our prayers, but you guys do! Please know in your hearts, as well as your minds, that their course is run, and they have won the prize of no more pain or sickness, that they know the joy of being in the presence of God and His Mighty Host.
    It is you guys who need our prayers and consolation, as you will miss their love, their comfort, their laugh, their touch. I only hope that you told your mothers many times before they passed that you loved them, that you left nothing unsaid, that you have no regrets.
    It is so difficult to lose a loved one, especially your mother or your wife, especially in death. It is most painful at first, but eventually the pain fades. You will always miss them. Guys, do not be averse to talking to them. They may not answer, but it helps you, who had to remain behind to talk to them on occasion.
    May God give you strength to deal with the pain, and healing from the sorrow.

    Chris, Delfts, and Jaybear…my prayers and heart go out for you. As we grow up, we all accept the fact that we are most likely going to see our parents go before us. Doesn’t make it any easier when it does happen. Peace and grace for you all as you go through this time.

    And on this note, I have not gotten the call. Sister did text me to tell me that Mom isn’t doing well, steady down hill since I left. My prayers for all three families that are walking down this road. For I know that my own walk shall be started soon. God bless.

    Heavenly Father, into your hands, we commend the souls of our departed Sisters. Welcome them home into the loving arms of Your Holy Son, grant Peace to their souls, and provide Your Holy Comfort to their loved ones still on this veil, secure in the knowledge they walk with You today.
